Juan Gabriel was the Prince of Mexico. Karen feeling how she feels is how we all feel. He was a ntional treasure. He made all of his music and orchestrated. He was a genius.
Karen hit the nail on the head, how does the music make you feel ❤️❤️❤️❤️. Thank you guys, it stirs my soul💋💋💋. Mijo you pronounced it perfectly 🥰🥰🥰👵🏼 Gmaw
Juan Gabriels mom abandoned him and he was raised by another woman, he later found his mom and she rejected him. He continued to keep tabs on her regardless until she passed on, this is his homage to her.
Juan Gabriel is a Mexican icon! And that song I can’t listen without crying 😢after losing my brother even before! All his music will make you feel feelings I cry… if you don’t know Spanish to his music it’s not the same but omg he’s beautiful 😢
He wrote this song for his mother.. being Mexican and having my parents and always with the chisme his mother didn’t like that he was gay. So, he was heart broken 💔
Es Muy Comfortable Verlos Juntos Un Blanquito Y Latina En Estos Momentos De Crisis .. Gracias 🙏🏽 Por Seguir Siendo Humanos Y Sigamos Uniendonos En Nuestra Culturas Como La Musica 🇺🇸🎼🎤🇲🇽🙏🏽♥️
Your lovely karen cried immediately with the song as i do every time i listen to "Amor Eterno". We Mexicans played this song in funerals as Karen stated. First, i played this song was at my mom's funeral services. It breaks my heart every time i listen to it but it also heals me. God bless both of you.
Yaaaaassss! You go girl! Spanish music is so underrated. So many iconic artists/tracks that are timeless and new artists/tracks that blow you away how talented they are. Love the reaction!
Juan Gabriel always knew his voice WAS the show. That's why he gave his everything In every single one, not to mention that he was a perfectionist when it came to his shows. El Divo de Juarez will forever live in our hearts and memories. Great reaction.
It’s a genuine reaction when it’s your body that responds: lump in the throat, shivers down the arms. Music is such a powerful thing that can almost touch you like a finger through time and space.
Gran cantante definitivamente Juan Gabriel.
Love when the algorithm recommends new reactors. Que viva Juan Gabriel! Que viva nuestra gente y cultura! 🇲🇽 Hope you are able to discover and enjoy more.
Juan Ga is a legend! And will always be one of hte best true artists in this world! Great reactions and comments from both of you! Karen is right, this is an anthem!
Tears to my eyes time I hear it man. What sis said about this song being played at funerals is a cultural thing. Every Latino household would play this in remembrance of a loved one who has passed on. I’ve seen the hardest dudes break down. Also, the night Kobe passed there were multiple mariachi that performed it outside staples center.
Yes, there really is something about so many of Juan Gabriel's songs that speaks to an indescribable feeling of life that words like sorrow bittersweet and mourning cannot express. It really is the labor of love.
Aw man idk yall but seeing her teared up at the beginning was literally me at the exact same moment. Much respect i know it’s going to be a good reaction.
I recommend you a Spanish singer her name is Diana Navarro with the song "El perdón" she is a singer that transmits a lot when she sings and has incredible melismas. She is also very versatile when it comes to singing. She sings different musical styles. Best regards
Great reaction. It was a good idea to activate the English subtitles to be able to understand the lyrics. Juan Gabriel passed away in 2016. He was a singer, a song writer, a performer and an actor. He wrote more than 1,800 songs. He wrote this song as a tribute to his deceased mother. He was in Acapulco when he received the news of his mother's death and that is why he says that she is the saddest memory of Acapulco. Please react to more songs of Juan Gabriel. For example, Hasta que te conocí, also from Bellas Artes.
Chills. Juan G was the One. He could do any Mexican genre and killed it every time. His mariachi is unmatched with that voice. Mt Rushmore of Mex artists Juan Gabriel Pedro Infante Vicente Fernandez Take your pick
This song was written to his mother who abandoned him when he was very young and left him at an orphanage . This is the most Heartbreaking and Beautiful song ever IMO...This is my favorite performance of it as well. Also as others have commented "Hasta Te Conoci " from this same live show is Great
Its a song he wrote about his mother when she die….. “ I wish you were alive, that your eyes have never closed and still staring at them, eternal love and unforgetable, sooner or later I will be with you, to continue loving each other”
Damn Cliff i have been following you for so long because your rap reactions, with Eminem 50 Cent etc... i am mexican, and for you and Karen reacting to this great song for us mexicans was great.✌🏻👍🏼
He wrote this song for his mother.. being Mexican and having my parents and always with the chisme his mother didn’t like that he was gay. So, he was heart broken 💔 but he never said it. We was always heart broken 😢 a true Mexican Icon!!
As a mexican born I completely understand and this song makes me emotional everytime and when the time comes when my mom leaves me, it will definitely hit me way harder I can for see it
Awesome breakdown and reaction. Have a few requests.
Ps singing in the teatro de Bella’s arte in Mexico is like being a country singer and preforming at the grand ole opry or a rapper and signing at the Madison square garden…. It’s an awesome place
Amor Eterno is one of the saddest songs of all time, he wrote this about his mothers passing. Also, "Hasta que te Conoci" from this same concert is one of those songs where the live performance just goes on another level, highly recommend. As far as the best concerts of all time, for me its this concert (1990 Palacio de Bellas Artes) and honorable mention for Queen at Live Aid, but no other concert comes close to this. Just to show how much of an Icon he is, 1 million people showed up to his funeral at the Palacio de Bellas Artes.
My partner is a güero like yours...it's hard for some of them to be receptive to the culture. I'm so glad Cliff is able to appreciate our culture and get to know it.
In Spanish, what is considered fine arts (singing, playing music, dancing painting, theater, etc.) are called Bellas Artes. There is a place that feels more like a palace for its grandeur and its marble walls that is Palacio de Bellas Artes (The Fine Arts' Palace). Usually dedicated to what is considered "highly cultural" events like Opera (as a kid my parents took me there to see Aida) and ballet (they used to show The nut cracker every Christmas season) with the best performers from Mexico and often bringing international shows like the Bolshoi Ballet from Moscow. For more popular shows, the high end place was El Auditorio Nacional (The National Auditorium) which was more designed for functionality, not with so much Art Deco. In 1990, the first popular artist who presented a show in El Palacio de Bellas Arters was Juan Gabriel. A decision that was criticized by many who wanted to see only "cultured" presentations this place, but celebrated by most Mexicans. Since then, some of the most representative artists from Mexico like Vicente Fernandez also have presented concerts at The Palace.
As long as you’re both on the Spanish music train, I think that there’s no way you can do it without showing some love to THE… Don Chente, Vicente Fernández. 👀🇲🇽
Singer composer wrote over 1500 songs, 30 studio albums sold over 100 million world wide a true Icon.
Over 2500 songs!
Juan Gabriel was the Prince of Mexico. Karen feeling how she feels is how we all feel. He was a ntional treasure. He made all of his music and orchestrated. He was a genius.
I thought I knew what love was and then I heard this man sing about it and then I realized I got no fucking idea?
@vinceledezma8520 i feel you.
@SirBenjaminAzure I'm a very negative person so don't take this to heart but the fact you didn't know t I'm at it was in English makes me hate people
God damnit an English version exists!!!!
@vinceledezma8520 i didn't know either
You and Karen should react to “Hasta Que Te Conocí” from this same concert! 🤌🏽🤠✨

Juan Gabriels mom abandoned him and he was raised by another woman, he later found his mom and she rejected him. He continued to keep tabs on her regardless until she passed on, this is his homage to her.

Let’s go Juan Gabriel
Juan Gabriel is a Mega Star ⭐ in Latin America, in México was the king of music.
I recommend you a Spanish singer her name is Diana Navarro with the song "El perdón" she is a singer that transmits a lot when she sings and has incredible melismas. She is also very versatile when it comes to singing. She sings different musical styles. Best regards
Im liking every comment i can from this video
This song along with Las Golondrinas y Te vas Angel mio, are probably the saddest songs about losing someone(in México at least)
I get body chills every time I hear the audience sing back to him
Great reaction.

HASTA QUE TE CONOCI !!!!!
