Mitch took the time ..wheeled around to the outside of the trucks fence and had a 5 minute conversation with me..I thanked him for his service ge thanked me for my buisness...signed my hat...wonderful experience with the race team goat
I will never forget the day that I called and asked to speak with Mitch. I was 10 years old at the time and knowing back then how incredibly amazing it was to talk to Mitch was mind blowing for me. I remember the call like it was this morning and I'm 41 now. I called and a different gentleman answered the shop phone and told me Mitch was out to lunch, but he would give him the message that I was looking to talk to him about a possible ride. Mitch literally called me back 10 minutes later and I told him briefly about myself and my racing experience ect he told me that he was already looking at a few other riders and I could check back with them in the future. I was calling him from North Idaho and I never expected such a huge name in the sport to take the time to return my call and speak with me while he was out to lunch. I will forever cherish that moment in my life and I will always love Mitch and his team. 💯💚

Similar. I got laid off when when place I worked downsized, not much in my area for what I do but found one business. Dressed up in a suit, went in with my resume, they said you look great but we're not hiring right now. Ok see you next week. I went back every week for some time, eventually they said yes we have an opening. I stayed there I think 13 years, small place so I learned a ton by doing anything that needed doing, and used everything I learned to create my own products and sell from my own business. I'm still friends with the owners, quite an adventure.
I wish you guys would indicate who you are interviewing. For reference, I have raced motocross for 55 years, but that doesn't mean I can recognize every usually-helmeted pro in street clothes. My deal is racing, not watching. But I'd like to know about the guys who are the world's best.
When I was younger I got Ben Townley’s front fender at Dilla. Years later when he was riding for Lucas oil I brought it to get it signed by him. Right when I turned around Mitch was there chilling. Ended up having a quick conversation with him about it and got him to sign the fender too. Both are some of the coolest dudes in moto.
