Like everyone else commenting, was so cool to know Lenny was next in line even with my eyes closed. Actually I kept thinking Lenny was next, but it just kept getting louder... and louder... AND LOUDER!!! 😂🤣😆
My heart stopped seeing that MC-6. Rare bird! Was that one a V-12? All those marvelous Detroit's sounded quite good. Some even had the sense to keep them wound up! Poor old Flxibles drawing up the rear. Nice parade!
My hat's off to everybody who participated in the parade, and keeps those old girls and lads in good running order. It's not cheap to own a bus by any means. I'm not the biggest GM guy on the planet, but you've still got to give some applause and respect to the folks who dedicate their time, money, and effort to keeping those things around. Some of those buses are pieces of our history, and regardless of who built them or how many or few were made, it's cool to see that some folks care enough to put a little love into something, to believe in the thing and keep it roadworthy and occasionally take it out for a spin. Some of the buses seen in the parade could use a little paint and whatnot, but by golly, that'd be a fair whack of money to put out. Better to be mechanically sound and in need of paint and polish than to be languishing in a field or a scrapyard. Couldn't help but smile at some of the buses that rolled past the camera. Obviously some have a better outward appearance on the surface, but every one of the owners deserves a pat on the back at the very least for showing up and joining in the parade. I bet some of them spent a pile on fuel just getting there.
I'd like to know what type the last two busses were in the parade, engine air scoops on the roof. My dad was contemplating buying one in the 80s. Remember the price was 4k at the time but it needed love $$. I think it was a bluebird?

Greyhound trailered several great buses to the Evansville rally a couple of years ago, but they may no longer be in a financial position to do so anymore. There were no actual Greyhound buses at this event.
@@MrMauserb Yeah, in subsequent videos we got tours. All are private and at least one is an RV (one of the ScenicCruisers). I guess these are just collector vehicles.
All but a handful are RVs. We use these buses to travel the country. They are almost all fitted out with a kitchen and bathroom. It is hard for most of us to justify the expense of a seated coach.
You could tell by the exhaust when Lenny went by.

Tyler (Indiana Diesel) did a walkthrough on it yesterday, it's a Greyhound US conversion with an 8V71T and 4 speed Allison automatic.

Does anyone know anything about the coaches? Are they active Greyhounds? That'd be nice of Greyhound to let them be in a parade.
