- Una (Himachal). On Friday, the elderly took to the streets and protested against the Congress government of Himachal Pradesh which is on the path of economic reforms. Himachal Pensioners Welfare Association protested against the state government on Friday at Una district headquarters showing strong solidarity in support of their demands. Elderly pensioners also participated in this protest. All the pensioners united and protested against the state government and called it an anti-employee and anti-pensioner government. They have announced that if the government still ignores the problems of elderly pensioners, then the next step will be to surround the secretariat.
