Making a game like this without restrictions was honestly quite fun & I finally 'finished' an 'actual' project!
I Made a game in around a month (30 days) with on and off work. Similar to the challenges where you make a game in 24 Hours or 1 day. I made this using the Unity game engine that game developers like Dani use and that Brackeys would make tutorials on (still sad he left).

you should also give us the sword as a wepon you can switch or replace the bow with so if they get too close you can use a quick sword slash while at range you can use a strong bow
