Corrections, non profit organizations like churches can work with politicians. What they are not allowed to do is endorse a candidate or get involved in campaign activities. Elected officials have two sides, the official side and the campaign’s non profits can work on the official side.

Part of the solution is easy and should have been done years ago. All communities that have so called cooling centers should be fitted with emergency power. That way when the storm passes all one has to do is flip a switch. We have highschools that look like resorts. They have kitchens. Make sure when they build them they have back up power. Our people shouldn't have to wait days for facility support

Simple. The distribution (poles, wires, substations, etc.) system wasn’t deregulated. CenterPoint has rates controlled by the Public Utility Commission and must abide by PUC regulations.
@16:33 All Texans under ERCOT pays a base charge to CenterPoint, regardless of electric company because they have a legal monopoly to maintain the lines, Texans shouldn't be considered customers. These are OUR power lines, It is OUR electricity that CenterPoint failed to maintain and our government bodies that regulate them.
Pay FEMA a visit Next aft addressing with FEMA concerning FORTBEND not on disaster relief list and got it added ALL FEMA instructed workers to just come out spend 10mins in the home & tell u you would get a reply back in 10 days instead hr or so aft worker leaves u get a denial saying damages isn’t enough for a small grant;worker instructed to tell us FEMA only making inside home NOT outside roof,fence etc denied my appeal before i sent it
The funny thing in this is all are saying “We Know Houston is a disaster City” if they knew why did it take them this long to finally SPEAK UP. And when they do Speak up all I heard was give money to the Church because we help people and need more funds. 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️. Looks like these Bishops and Pastors forgot that the people who go to there Church give them money to help the community not help themselves in Buying over Luxury Houses and Cars.
