I love this. I always watch the Merrie Monarch every year. Mark Ho'omlu is my favorite chanter. His people always make a superb show and Mark's voice is incredible. I sang in High school and college myself. I am a former History teacher and have always studied cultures. My dad used to take me to see the singers and dancers from Taihiti and Hawaii that came to our area every year. My favorite cultural music and dancing comes from the Pacific Islands, Africa (mostly Southern and West coast), Native American and certain areas of Asia( mostly Mongolian and the surrounding areas). My ancestry is mostly Irish and Scottish with a little Native America (my sons have a love- their mom was 1/4th Cherokee). Mothing beats bagpipes and drums, but the areas I mentioned come close. I would love to watch a dance exchange between Pacific Islanders and Native Americans- with the singing and music added. Gods would that be awesome lol. Never let these young people forget their past, their traditions, and especially their languages. Once gone, they are gone forever.
Oi boa tarde tudo bem estou vendo um vídeo aqui de vocês parabéns pelo vídeo também eu achei muito interessante do que chama atenção do mundo inteiro que vocês estão bem do seu almoço só Rassi uma só língua nós somos uma só nação e aumentei muitos jogos e é isso que nós precisamos jovem manter e guitarra por o nosso os vídeos de vocês fala em tudo isso da floresta e dos índios de todas a nação que existem quanto é que estão reunidos para discutir o poder das coisas que vai fazer mas felizmente eu vejo que sim água se um prefeito nós mas jovem tem poder jovem todas ação pode fazer algo sem todo fazer uma parte cada um fazer sua parte pode ter jeito de ir em ordem combater o que tá acontecendo a temperatura já tá aumentando cada vez mais e mais desastres podem vir por isso nós também tem que fazer a nossa por que a floresta pede socorro como é só a floresta como mar vento a neve gelo tudo pede socorro e nós também faz parte dela e ela só é parte da gente como a terra e o por isso que toda a linguagem de vocês eu entendo a linguagem de cada um de vocês o que quer dizer vai dois anos que issoestá certo de que estão fazendo e tá e isso é bom isso é muito bom quando a gente ainda tem tempo de fazer algo porque muito tempo pega a vassoura e varrer para debaixo do tapete e fatura bilhões e bilhões de dinheiro em cima de tudo isso e nada é feito anos e anos vem acontecendo e nada tanto dinheiro que é gastado e não para de é isso meu ponto de vista parabéns pelo vídeo gostei
