I 1000% agree on your advice of "Just showing up no matter what" and how important it is not just as creatives but in life in general which is such a beautiful thing to remember and to live by, because you never know what your outcome is going to be but might as well take that chance because what if it's going to be the best thing memory ever? Your videos just keeps getting better and better! Looking forward to the next one!
Thank you for letting us in your thoughts, struggles and your process. Reminds me to reflect more about my work. It's a privilege to have a creative retreat w creative friends. ♡🙏
Ive been off my grind wit taking videos and photos. Watching this made me realize I should prolly go on a trip, take time with my camera like yall and revisit why i enjoyed it so much. Thanks 🙏📷
Watched this video with my girlfriend before going to sleep and it set the perfect relaxing mood for both of us. You do an amazing job at inspiring other creatives. Thanks. ❤🩹
Hello good sir, loved your content. There is simplicity and peace in your art maybe because you are honest with it. So a long way to go and you are closer to make it big!! Your craft is reaching and being valued in India. Good work!!
🍂🍂 these vlogs have been such great inspiration to me! And it’s true what you said about the conditions not always being perfect, in Vancouver I get blessed whenever it doesn’t rain 😭😭 🍂
🍂such a fruitful topic (and great shots, as always) question: how do you balance being able to get good shots (across photography, videography, and vlogging) while still being present in the experience? I visited Japan about a month ago and this was my genuine struggle - fumbling between my camera + talking to people + navigating + being mindful of the experience
Ahh yes good question, I always find a struggle with the balance hahah But thankfully I had my friends who filmed a lot while we were out too! I could not have made this video without them ~
I feel this as well! The last time I went felt more like a creator trip than a vacation 😅 it’s def hard to balance and something I need to learn… but also v difficult when creating is also relaxing / full expression, too
I love wandering around with my camera, it allows me to stop and look at things i would otherwise feel too awkward to do. I Just need to find some photography friends in my city now
Video hits once again sir 🫡 Finally booked my ticket to Japan next year May and I love photography as well, I was just wondering if you had any recommendations on places that can develop film in Japan? It’s hard for me to get films developed in the States that’s good quality so I was hoping to maybe get my films in Japan 😊
I always love your video. But I wonder if the weather when you shoot this video is cloudy? The color grading you use for the first half of the video is a bit too much? The vibes that I got (at least for me) are more sad, heavy, and gloomy than a little piece of reflection. I know the color is your 'identity'; but I wish it could be brighter/lighter for both color and the music. Nice video btw! I just came from Japan this Wednesday and your video makes me already miss Japan!
Do you ever feel like you miss out on your trip cause youre just trying /thinking of getting the right shot? ive seen other creators talk about this, so was just wondering
Ahahha yeah definitely It’s a give and take I think, I get to relive the moment over and over again watching my own videos but also it takes away from the experience a bit
do you develop your film photos in Japan or when you're back in Australia? I am living in Japan at the moment and am having a hard time finding a spot to get my film developed
How do u use ur peak design capture clip with a tripod that isn't from peak design? Cause unscrewing the baseplate each time doesn't seem to be a convenient solution. I'm very curious cause I have a capture clip too! :]
Yeah good question, SO I usually use the PGY tech ecosystem but I lost my clip so i'm using my old Peak Design one. I found the the "Newer" plates work for all three brands though (Peak design, Newer & PGY tech) However the other two don't work for all three... A bit tricky haha
@@Havenotats omg sorry i'd commented the moment i started watching hahaha but now i've seen the whole thing. your storytelling game just keeps leveling up man, you inspire me!
Tatsuki the way this video was formatted was funny, outstanding and overall just magical of the way you film, keep it up
Thank you ~
Perfect blend of narration & letting the footage speak for its self, thanks for another meaningful vlog!
Thank you friend ~
