I was dating a guy who within two months of dating I had keys to his car his house and his debit card. 🚩🚩🚩 Even on a date a couple came up and showered him with compliments. I was like what the heck and told him he didn't need to set that up. Especially when they just go straight to asking about kids and marriage on the first date. From experience, that doesn’t generally end well, for me at least. But I just show or admit basically every flaw I have within the first few months and if they can’t handle it, I wasted minimal time. It seems to be working well at the moment.

When I said asking about marriage and kids, I was referring to a specific situation in which a guy repeatedly texted me until I finally agreed to go out with him, asked me all those things and pretended to care, then quickly showed that he didn’t care at all. He also wouldn’t tell me his occupation so another red flag there (he was a pediatrician in residency though). My point was that some guys will talk about that to draw you in and then play mind games, toying with your emotions. And did he care about me at all? No, but in those months I spent talking to him, I had many good times despite the bad. And I don’t regret having met him. So I’d say I got all the fun, excitement, trauma, and heartbreak a girl could have in a relationship for those few months.

I can confirm the dudes and gym thing. Had a couple of old friends who prioritized going to the gym over life events and their girlfriends told me working out was all they talked about. They're happily married with different men now.
Not even gon hold yall, I uses to he that nigga that just wanted to do everything right and just be so nice all the time and not want anybody to see my flaws but honestly that's bs and I had to come to that conclusion real fast or my current relationship just wasn't gon work. When I first met her I was all like omg you're perfect(which I still think she is) and you're my soulmate(rolling of the eyes is encouraged😂) and we're gonna get married. But it's taken time for me to realize that before we can even get to all that, all my cards have to be on the table. I am not perfect. I am still a kind person but don't take kindness for weakness. I am still friendly to people but there is a line to cross. Me being with her and getting all of my feelings out and having someone understand what I've personally been through has helped me a lot with my own character development. Not even gon hold yall, I uses to he that nigga that just wanted to do everything right and just be so nice all the time and not want anybody to see my flaws but honestly that's bs and I had to come to that conclusion real fast or my current relationship just wasn't gon work. When I first met her I was all like omg you're perfect(which I still think she is) and you're my soulmate(rolling of the eyes is encouraged😂) and we're gonna get married. But it's taken time for me to realize that before we can even get to all that, all my cards have to be on the table. I am not perfect. I am still a kind person but don't take kindness for weakness. I am still friendly to people but there is a line to cross. Me being with her and getting all of my feelings out and having someone understand what I've personally been through has helped me a lot with my own character development. Not saying she is the only reason because I'm sure I would've came to these conclusions on my own eventually but she was definitely the catalyst and I'm grateful for who she is to me. I say allat to say yeah it's definitely a red flag when a person is like that because there are some underlying issues that need to be addressed. I don't agree with the whole "female" thing tho.
