Thank you so much for the shout out!! It was such a pleasure riding with you and everyone else, the support and enthusiasm on this group ride was incredible! Can’t wait to be around y’all again!
Shepherding your flock love your attitude dropping back to increase contact with every one love your group and the ride Thanks Luis for bringing me along i have tears of pure Joy.
4:25 Killer Lakes Blvd-- that's hilarious. So apropos to segue into me and my DNN moment (4:40) before bonking out. It looks like I'm going slow but I'm smashing 300W catching all that wind hahaha. Aero > Power, lol, I needed to be riding behind big buddy in the fluoro yellow. It's too bad you couldn't get footage of Abel smashing so hard that he ripped his front derailleur off!
Hi Luis. Love your videos. That ride looks so cool especially with the warm weather. I was hoping to get out on my bike today but here in western NY it's not quite as nice. 35 degrees with windchill making it feel like 20 and snow forthcoming.
Hey Luis, Love what you are doing with your channel . I was talking to a rider from Long Island NY vs Me being from Lower Hudson Valley NY... LI is all about speed as it is relatively flat compared to upstate where I am. Obviously different strokes for different folks. But LI'ers as well as Florida riders seem to be all about speed. Up here it is more about how high and how far speed is less important. Similarly we generally run 50/34 x 11/32 gearing here and not 52 or 53 big rings due to the elevation....I think too much emphasis is placed on how fast one rides when power will ultimately make one faster and be able to maintain the speed. Might be something you should explore on your channel. I know as I have become stronger and more fit I am able to maintain higher speeds but I don't focus on it.
It’s wild how you can throw together an 80 cyclist coffee ride, when we struggle for 60 for an annual charity ride. We need you in Indianapolis next Fall for Tour De Komen 2025 so we can hit 100 riders!
Trike, trades greater stability for a little more rolling resistance from the extra tyre and a gear differential to split power to each wheel (lighter ones have just one driven wheel). Great fun to ride in ice and snow. That one looks like a conversion kit fitted to a normal bike, the axle is mounted further behind than usual and the frame geometry appears pretty normal.
That’s a delta style recumbent trike. One wheel in front and two in rear. A tadpole recumbent trike has one rear wheel drive and two front wheels. They are much faster. The ICE VTX and Catrike 700 are the fastest trikes out there. Incredible gearing and fabulous frames and fast as hell. Much more comfortable than any standard bike, much more stable, and a hell of lot easier on one’s back, neck, wrists, shoulders and crotch.
Very Nice! Loved it all. Out here in Chico Nor Cal we did our usual Wed AM coffee ride. 9AM it was about 40 degrees. Bright and sunny. About 25 of us showed up and had a great ride. Tried a newly re-paved road and got 2000' of climb in and a zooming downhill. I rode my 1990 MASI because I like it. Carbon is cool, I have a Canyon also, steel is very real.
It’s the sound of the tires, the wind and the hubs! 👌🏽 The just does it for me!
It is the best sound! 🚴🏾♂️

It’s tough to ride in the winter but it sounds like you’re still motivated 👍🏾

It is a function of the community coming together much more than it is me. Best of luck with raising your numbers next year👍🏾
Great ride as always bruv. For the record Tracy said PNS, not P***s 😂
The other story is cooler, so we'll say that's what happened😂😂😂
Where do you guys start from? I'd love to come out for a ride with all of you.
I announce this ride on the channelnas I only do it all couple times a year. We start from Silver Lakes North park in Pembroke Pines.
Michelle Torres is an awesome cyclist!
Indeed, she is!
What type of three-wheel bike is that @3:35? I have never seen one before.
