The city needs to offer portable potties for the homeless. Yes! It's humane and neglectful and doesn't protect the deceased either.

Just so you know, this happens everywhere not just in Florida. I used to live in Connecticut and they built the public schools and elementary over graves of Native Americans and poor people.

I don't agree that it's our job to care for the "homeless." Give em a hand up, OK, but we are not their caretakers! They "demoralize themselves with their own decisions, they choose to live in the woods, like animals... Most of them have some type of Income..... LAZY. I apologize to those who do not fit into this group.

That was interesting reporting. It was always a scam where some connected contractor got a contract to move the interred, but they only moved the headstones leaving the buried in the ground. At least in Europe these bones would be taken to ossuaries.

they wont allow that since alot of properties are private but even in public areas, if you allow it then everyone will want to do that and the public lands will be destroyed, homeless people have something in them to not make good decisions that led to homelessness. not sure what it is, but governments job is not to help you but to profit off of you. commercial laws, not common law

This video is a little woke. The homeless are not a monolithic population. Peoples' attitudes towards the homeless are complex, and that's okay. Some homeless people have sad stories, like the old guy who I see on my way to work who lost his leg. And some homeless are just lazy bums who make excuses for everything, like the guy who's my age, and who stands for 10 hours a day at the Wal-mart entrance, making hand gestures at cars to give him money. I can't stand for 10 hrs a day in the sun myself, but I need to give him money or care about him because he's too lazy to get a job? I went bankrupt, btw, so I know what it means to be at rock-bottom.

i always wonder where they go to the bathroom, I think it is horrible that in ohio they provide bathrooms but the homeless tear them up, dont appreciate the help, they use bathrooms in busiensses and end up locking the doors for hours and wont get out so they wont allow anyone to use them that is not a customer. the homeless are not only their own worst enemy but they ruin it for others who are homeless and are not on drugs and still respect property and resources provided like bathrooms and water. graveyards do not scare me the dead are dead cant harm you ecclessiastes 9:5

There is another factor in this: those old Af. American graveyards on the edges of towns are NEVER patrolled by cops at night. The cops will drive down the ROAD the cemetery is on, sure. But not into the cemetery. I once spent an entire night drinking in a Tampa Bay graveyard like this with friends: zero cop action. As long as you are not spotted coming or going at night, these are pretty safe from police. Another reason the homeless would go there....
