Given the packs are handled by organizers, why not just replace them with a proxy that shows both on one side instead of this

@playmtg weren’t players supposed to sleeve the cards face down? At 3:17 Nathan looked at every card he‘s sleeving. Might be only a slight advantage - but an advantage nonetheless. Correct me if I’m wrong please - but I participated too and was instructed to sleeve face down 2 times.

I am confused by players seemingly unclear on if they were allowed to see the cards as they sleeved

Why on earth wouldnt the organizers just pre-sleeve the packs?

Oh boy i sure do love building a draft deck and then Intentionally Drawing on the final round of draft to keep my record up, screwing up the bracket and winning the pro tour. What a prestigious world champion!

At REL level events this should nit be allowed.

What does "drawing on the final round" mean?

@@bredlify3079he agreed to draw with his opponent so that the 2 people could effectively lock their top 8 up and it also blocks almost everyone else in that pod (the best 8 players from day 1) from getting top 8. It happens every pro tour

They literally have the token to replace these card for when you're actually playing. This is just stupid when you've already went through the pack and stamped each pack. The whole part of drafting is to show how you can build with cards you're given while trying to figure out what everyone else is trying to go for. When you basically telegraph your picks it takes the randomness away, it didn't happen like this for online draft it has absolutely 0 excuse for it to happen at this Level of play. Shame on the organizers for not understanding the reason why people draft and the skill to make a good draft deck and for anyone trying to defend this.
