From a grocery store to two unexpected gas stations that sell whiskey, we uncovered some incredible bottles along the way. Everyone walked away with something, and you won't believe the finds!

My camera doesn’t seem to like some of the lights in the store haha. This bourbon hunt was so much fun. It’s awesome to find a new store to me in a small town not far from home. Also lighthouse gas station is actually in Lafayette! I hope you all enjoyed this one. Do me a favor and LIKE & SUBSCRIBE! Cheers everyone🥃
If you’re shooting on a dslr or a mirror less, it’s the shutter speed.
@ I’m using the DJI pocket 3. So I need to up my FPS up from 25 you’d say?
@@Wiskeyer LED lights can sometimes flicker on camera due to the alternating current (AC) frequency, which is 60Hz in some regions (US). Usually setting your camera's frame rate to match the AC frequency will help eliminate this. (i.e. 60fps or 30fps)
@ thank you!
Nice Hunting ,,,, Thanks
@@RandyLalonde cheers brother
Cedar Ridge is fire! The 🐐 Alan hooked me up with a sample...🔥
@@joe.unfiltered I’m a big fan for sure.
Man this hunt looked fun and I can’t wait for this brother justice pick 🍻🍻🍻🍻🔥hunt
@@Cardnotics-anonymous man it was a fun one! Cant wait for that pick either brother. Cheers 🥃
Let's goooo babbbbbbyyyy. I wanted to stop at this Champagnes! Great selection and picks!
@@joe.unfiltered Such a hidden gem for sure.
Kentucky Spirit is one of my favorites. I've got both CN-E and CN-F and both are great.
@@JoelBrewster-c8h which do you prefer?
Unfortunately, I am messed up but Kentucky Spirit is the only Turkey I can appreciate and have only ever found CN-E and TY. Even the 70th didnt really grab my attention and I had to drink the whole bottle over a 2 week period to make sure. 😂
My favorite whiskey tuber. Lets keep growing, baby
Thank you so much 🥹🥃
Cedar Ridge is AWESOME!! So many great things coming out.
I’m loving this bottle. Can’t wait for more!
Cedar Ridge is incredible, especially the barrell proof. $35 in Chicago
@@chrischromek1593 I agree it’s very good! Cheers 🥃
@Wiskeyer mine specifically was batch #7. Saw later in the video you got batch #1. interested in trying other batches when they come around.
@ dang I didn’t know they had that many!
Cedar ridge is doing big things! Good juice
Glad I grabbed that one! Cheers 🥃
Look for the Cedar Ridge Double Oak ... Reallllly good stuff. As others mentioned, dont sleep on that cask strength. Good price there!
Cheers! Thank you so much.
Always great videos! Really enjoy the narration! greetings from Stockholm, Sweden!
Thank you so much for watching and supporting. How’s the bourbon scene out there? Cheers 🥃
@@Wiskeyer Unfortunately very limited and very allocated! In Sweden the alcohol market is monopolized by the government. We only get the very basic stuff, although we are able to purchase online.
@ oh wow
I'm loving the 375 bottles. Collecting these bottles as Art as well as being delicious. Angel Envy 375 bottle is awesome. Cheers. Skillet
Cheers!!!!!
I'm over here in northern Ga and that 1924 is so illusive. Love the whiskey row series. Thank you for the content, great hunt.
It’s such a dang good bottle too. Thanks so much for watching and supporting. Cheers!
In GA as well, we barely got any this year
Triple oak Angel Envy is a fantastic pour!
Loving the Might Ducks hat!
Thank you!!!!
I love my Tumblin Dice pick from Cannata’s.
@@reddawg917 good stuff!!!!
@ I need that Still Austin Blue Corn in my life. I can’t believe I didn’t buy one while I was there. FYI I’ll be in NOLA 12-15 March. So maybe I’ll find one then.
@ would love to see y’all!
Check out the Gheens truck stop for the Blue Corn Seen a couple over there
Great job. Always looks like a good time.
Don’t be afraid to toss a little Scotch and Irish into the whiskey mix. Cheers
@@davecashel4007 haha thanks so much. Cheers 🥃
I’ve had 2 bottles of that tumbling dice and it’s a great bottle for sure.
@@undergroundpsychos3820 agreed! 🥃
Found north is absolutely worth it. Some of the best whiskey out there. Wish I could find that around me on the shelf like that.
I agree it’s very delicious
Your bourbon IQ is getting up there man. Moving up the ladder quickly for the guys I watch on the bourbon channels!! Great stuff.
Man I really appreciate this comment so much. Thank you for watching!🥃
Subscribed! Great channel!
@@MichaelVanKorn happy to have ya here thank you so much!
If you got those 375 JDSBBP from around here, they’re probably from the Coy Hill barrel house. I stocked on them too because of how good they were. My buddy told me how to identify the barrel house from the neck of the bottles
@@BourbonondaBayou you got me curious!
He’s right on the 375 I pick them up whenever I see them
Lets goo
🥃
That found north should have made it into your car. Definitely a killer bottle.
I’m a big fan of found north and I kind of regret not getting it haha🥃
Hey my friend, another awesome video 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you brother!
That’s a damn good Rum!!!
Hell yeah it was so much fun! Cheers.
Love these hunts. Just in case you guys don't know the same guys behind Tumblin' Dice also are the same guys behind The Representative. Both are from Proof and Wood
@@GOTAisMe I did NOT know that. Makes sense because they are both solid!
Ducks hat is sick!
Thank you!
Tumbling Dice is a slept on brand in my opinion 😋👍, I would probably be a KLUKE fan IF I could find one 🤔🤣. Pinhook is killing it with those 8-9 year age stated bottles lately, 3 of my favorite honey holes for bourbon are a small grocery store and 2 gas stations- I DON'T know how they get so many great bottles 🤔🫣😉,Another Great video my friend 💯👍 Cheers 🥃
@@thomasanderson2870 I agree with everything you said! Thanks so much for watching! Cheers 🥃
You have chosen well, Cedar Ridge!!!!!
Cheers 🥃
Heck yeah, would have bought 3 or 4 of the Cedar Ridge BP! It's like a Rare Breed but sweeter. Awesome juice!
@@marknelson9615 very delicious bottle!
His double oaked is the best I’ve had. I don’t care for woodford double oaked but the crittendens is a 1000% buy every time I see it
Store reached a it to me and said I can go back and try it during the week. I’m excited.
@ let me know what you think. I think it’s fantastic for the price. Matt puts out some awesome stuff.
@ awesome I sure will!
I worked for Champagne’s for 7 years lol. Good people.

Cedar ridge BP is very good. Love nonchill filtered whiskey
I’m a big fan!
10:04 get blasted on the store samples then smash a deli Sammy. Living life to the fullest 😂😂😂
FACTS🤣
No hate on TX Bourbon now, in Texas you can find their cask finishing series and their barrel proofs. Those bottles are solid Texas bourbon on par with Still Austin. Their Sherry cask finish is like drinking chocolate covered cherries!
@@gfrank9772 I need to dive into their whiskey some more. Cheers 🥃
You need to go back and get that 15 year Prideful Goat. That is 15 year Heaven Hill and it's fantastic especially for $177. Definitely a IYKYK bottle.
Sounds delicious
Crown blackberry is very sweet and very syrupy… tried mixing it with Sprite Zero and it’s toooo sweet. Oh well, glad I gave it a go.
I’ve got the Corazon aged in WL Weller barrels, Blantons and an Eagle Rare. All are good.
I have the WLW one it’s amazing
Cedar ridge double barrel and cedar ridge double barrel rye are both FIRE
@@cameronevans2550 I need that in my life! Cheers.
I didn’t think cedar ridge was in Louisiana.
Cheers 🥛🍼🥛
Me either I was really excited to find it! Cheers milkman
Kept thinking you were saying Sean Pines Store Picks lollllll had to back in up the video.
Different way of pronouncing Champagne 🍾🥂 😂
Hahaha the Cajun way! 🤣 cheers 🥃
Slipknot has a whiskey brand called No. 9. Cedar Ridge is who makes the whiskey. (Both are from Iowa).
I’ve tried slipknot and had no clue cedar ridge was making it! Thank you so much. Cheers 🥃
You make a good choice. 13:49
I got the sherry finish at Hokus Pokus in Alexandria, that was several months ago.
So good
That found north would have been MINE
Duuuude I thought of you when I saw it!
Great video! I have that batch of K.Luke Cab-finish…I will bring it by on my trip down. It’s definitely not your typical wine-finished bourbon. Interested to see what you think. I think it’s fantastic. Very complex, not overly sweet
Awesome man can’t wait!
Heaven hill BNB is 36.99$ in northern IL. Costco, Woodmans and Binnys all 36.99$
$52 on the Still Austin is pretty good.
Very!
@ got a better chance of finding Bigfoot than Still Austin where I live though.
@ REALLY?
@@Wiskeyer Yup. North Alabama area. Our state controlled lottery system is BS.
Cedar Ridge is good
@@jrodge211 I’m a new fan!
@Wiskeyer they do some solid picks as well
@ might have to reach out!
I brought a cedar ridge double barrel to sdl when u came in December. Not sure if u tried it then or not. I really enjoy that bottle, good pickup you got there I think!
@@SmokedTamaleAlan I agree brother! Cheers 🥃
I have both the New Riff Malted Rye Sherry Finish and the Malted Rye. Both are bangers. I do prefer the sherry finish though. I don’t see your Weller FP comp though. 1:45.
Never pass on those barrel proof cedar ridge .. amazing! Half the price of EC and better flavor!
Glad I got one!
Go back and pick up that Cedar Ridge BP. Thank me later. I live about 15 minutes from the distillery
I grabbed it! Love it as well. Cheers.
Other good wax bottles
Rare Character Single Barrel KOA/TKO
Very Old St Nick
Agreed!
Looking for a 1924 in Dallas, TX. Some stores have them from last year but at 100 over msrp...better luck this year when they drop 🤞🤞🤞
I’m hoping for the same brother haha cheers.
Wild Turkey fanatic here...The Kentucky Spirits are great bottles! Camp Nelson picks aren't any better than Camp Tyrone, as you know it's a single barrel. It's all subjective to the pick or the barrel. I've got 10-12 Kentucky Spirits on my shelf and have blinded many of them multiple times with fellow club members and myself and some end up with Camp Nelson bottlings as their winner, but some also end up picking a Camp Tyron. Just the nature of the single barrel. Don't buy into the hype of the Camp Nelson is god crowd. Campari is just using the words Camp Nelson to hype their distillery and push product, much like Buffalo trace does with Warehouse H.
I had a strong feeling this was happening. Thank you so very much. Cheers 🥃
Being from Iowa I have had a few Cedar Ridge. Will remind you of Crittenden's for that craft funk. Mixed with 95/5 Rye is pretty good. Cheers 🥃
@@justinvandee9428 I really enjoyed it! Cheers 🥃
I didn’t think cedar ridge was in Louisiana.
Also do you drink any beer?
Cheers 🥛🍼🥛
@@ThaPABproductions I do enjoy some good beer! Cheers.
@@Wiskeyerfigured with parish damn near in your backyard you may be a fan.
Any chance of coming to the northshore? Some great stores over here. Also I saw that high proof JT Meleck for 35 in a store the other day. Insane really.
@@BourbonWithMizeys what area would you recommend? Shoot me an email! Kaynon.castille@whiskeyraiders.com
@Wiskeyer i can definitely shoot an email. I would say probably the best area is the Madisonville area.
While I haven't personally tried it, I have heard from sources I trust that the Angel's Envy Triple Oak is mid and not worth the money. A lot of hype and not a lot of delivery. Again, haven't tried it myself yet, but when my local liquor store guy who knows my palate actively tells me, "don't buy that" on a $65-70 bottle, I tend to listen 😅
Thanks for the info!!!
Go there everyday!
What should I get for a beginner?
@@CatchinCash Man I love Buffalo Trace, Evan Williams single barrel and 1783, JT Meleck white label, pinhook is good and woodford double oak
@ what’s your pick for buffalo trace I should try?
@ standard is great. Also benchmark single barrel can be good
Lighthouse market in Sulphur? I don't think that's the one in Sulphur
You are correct haha in my pinned comment I corrected it saying it was an error. It’s in fact in Lafayette. Cheers
Thanks for sharing!
Trade you a 1924 for a Stagg……?
Tempting! I’ll give it another month of hunting for one and then I’ll get back with you. Cheers 🥃
11:27 utah has a limit of 2 on the crown black berry! I know im not buying it, lol
@@donkslc that’s wild🤣
Camp Nelson vs Tyrone…I’ve had single barrels from both that are bangers. My belief is that WT usually lets CN stuff age longer. Why let CN age longer? CN is “off-site” from their headquarters…Tyrone is on-site, making it more accessible and easier for frequent bottling. Just a theory, not facts.
This would make a lot of sense
125 for kluke is robbery.
That’s the average price for the wine finished I believe. But it’s still a hard buy
Bird Dog black berry so much better than the crown 80 proof instead of 70 and 20 dollars cheaper!
I agree!
Has the winner for the baby weller been announced 😅
Bruh🤣 I honestly forgot about this! I will announce it this week!
@ thanks bud! Keep up the great content
It did?
AE TO, meh…
Totally skipped over that Crittendans Rye, that one is so good
