“Not blowing people out”… meanwhile the scoring margin for this team is +319 in the point differential this season. I don’t think this game will be a blowout unless ND wins the turnover margin by 2 or more, but that sentence by Saban made me think he hasn’t watched much of ND this season.
@@kuno1k233 you act like USC is a cake walk, they led in every game in the 4th quarter and found ways to lose. USC could easily be 8-4 or 9-3. Per usual their coaching is bad and slightly improved but still mediocre defense.
I imagine he meant we don’t have a history of blowing people out cuz my whole life we’ve taken our foot off the gas once we got up and it’s annoyed the hell outta me but this year we’ve brought the dynamite.
I guess Saban didn't realize ND was up by 21 with about 4 mins. to play against USC and gave up 7 points and about 150 yds in garbage time with back ups
Well ... he addressed SC very specifically in fact. At 4:30 ... they had a 7 point lead and SC was driving the field effortlessly. That ballooned to 21 points quickly.....14 of those 21 points were two 99+ yrd pick sixes. As an Irish fan -- I loved that they beat SC... I wasn't necessarily a fan of how they had to do it. So to Saban's point on SC ... Trash time doesn't matter ...and the final score doesn't really matter -- that game was anything but a blow out (in the momentum / performance sense). 2 miraculous plays turned into a lopsided affair on paper. Likely because the game was in LA, but it felt like every time SC was on offense in the second half -- they had the momentum ... even when they were down the whole time. I can't remember how many times they tied the game (in the first half), but it was more than 2. That was back and forth and very close.... until it suddenly wasn't. To his broader point of 'ND isn't blowing people out' -- that's just categorically incorrect. They've orchestrated some big blow outs.
All these dudes haven’t watched ND and just repeat the same old tired bullsht. “They don’t blow people out” “there isn’t a star on the offense” “they don’t have speed on the outside” etc.
@ I never said they Weren’t gonna get beat by ND buddy. I just said they haven’t faced a defense like IU and other than the big run they held the run game in check. They still got ran out the building as they should have because ND was the better team. I bet money on ND and won tonight. I was just pointing out the fallacies in your argument. IU had beaten someone 66-0 as well.
“Analysts” keeps referencing USCs offensive output. Notre dame had 2 pick 6s in the 4th quarter and had their backups in with 7 minutes left… I hope a usc team down 21 could throw on the bottom of the roster.
Regardless of what Busch did… Notre dame still beat them 49-28 …the last usc td was a gimme literally. Nd gave them that last td Mfs gonna be surprised how far nd goes
Who knows the winner, no one knows. But ND has a weak schedule, very nearly the same as IU. IU won by more. Ohio State was fortunate the IU punt team gave the Buckeyes 2 touchdowns. They beat themselves. IU will be smarter this time around; prediction IU 31, ND 28 the biggest upset of the first round.
@@farharbor3178 lmao as an OSU fan I don’t speak on that game. You never know what’s gonna happen. But I know damn well IU can’t compete.. and they showed it

If Indiana and SMU get beats by more than 14 Points that will need to start putting more weight on Top 25 Wins. Both of those Teams have zero Victories against Top 25 Teams..

Saban taking a rare L. ND has handed most of its opponents their worse loss of the season.

Let's Go Fighting Irish and beat Indiana!☘☘☘
Y'all are biased
66-7. I think that’s one blowout for starters bud
IU just beat someone 66-0.
@ IU hasn’t faced a defense as tough as NDs all year 😂 Not even close
@ has ND faced a defense as good as IU? IU has a top ranked rush defense something ND hasn’t played yet.
@ IU just got dog walked by Notre Dame. IU finally knows what it’s like to play an elite defense GO IRISH ☘️
