Except WG in their infinite wisdom decided that achievements won't yield signals anymore. So if you detonate... sucks on you, go and spend some million credits in the armory

@@Ushio01 It’s impossible to be detonated with the detonation flag equipped now, and has been for months.
@@grassulus158 No it still is. It's a multiplier so even if it's 99.999% protected, there's still that 0.001% that you still can. I've seen several people detonate with detonation flags recently. It's a limitation in the programming itself in that the modifiers they use make it super extremely unlikely, but not impossible.
@@Talishar How did you come up with that? The description of the flag and the description of detonation both say "This flag reduces detonation chance to zero..." and "the magazine will not detonate if this signal is mounted on the ship".
So... no CVs, no Petros, no Thunderers, no bullshit. Just a close, tense and fun game where tactical competence is rewarded and bad decisions are punished. As WoWS should always be, if only WG cared a bit
surprisignly this is the first edition after WG bought KOTS, but that's probably only due to WG being forced to listen to the teams, without them no one would care about the tournament
So it seems like picking the Kurfurst was, predictably, a bad move. I don't think it served any purpose that a different ship couldn't have served much better.

Detonations should be removed from this game idk what's the point of that mechanic doesn't involve skill and can be easily mitigated by a single flag.

What in the fuck did they think at around 12:54?!?!?! That Marceau had the chance to be THE Hero of this game. He could literally yolo rush the Moskva from the front coming from behind the island unpunished and send him to kingdom come. Instead they sent a Daring from behind... what a beginner mistake... That was literally THE MOMENT when they threw the match.
Even that kremlin made that stupid mistake of reversing and taking those torps

On one hand, absolute potatoes and bots
On the other, KoTS domination
One game you'd see 4 bbs on K2, the other you'd see teams pinching and instinctively making crossfires everywhere and taking it.
Asia Server is a land of extremes.
The skilled players are a lot more skilled compared to other servers, but the shitters are shittier exponentially.
This requires multiple viewings just to get everything that happened, like the GK getting pelted down by two DMs on the 1 line.

Imagine being in the finals and not having a detonation flag on your DD.
That was amazing and exactly what I was hoping for. Excitement from the start, all the way through and an upset. That failure to have a det signal. Wow, school boy error right there.
FPM made the same mistake people make in randoms, get too cocky, try to win harder, and end up losing.
I love this, this has motivated me to take this level of team work into randoms

And if you can carry a team in SEA, you can probably carry a clan in any server
And if you can dominate the local clan battles in SEA, you are very likely to storm the KotS
Yep, me as a vet in asia server (5 plus year with 1990 pr/58wr) i played EU and NA and my god its a joke there. The level of broadsiding player and wrong positioning is just amazing
@@syukrir.robert8994 i think its due to the less serious attitude many players in those servers NA especially have towards the game
A far greater majority are just casual players who dont really care too much about winning, loosing, stats or doing all that much reasearch on stuff in the game and are just there to have a good time which i think is fine. Just for the more serious players on the server it can be very frustrating and to that i say i understand but f*ck off, games are for having fun not for basing your entire life around and complaining about those who cant do the same.

they made a cascade of mistakes, all the space of a minute and half, including the Kremlin backing up to take a load of torps from the Marceau. they never recovered. the ending was just them giving up and folding like a cheap deck chair.

Good finish on all games, however, the static wait and see approach is so prevalent which is the current state of the game. So passive for 3/4 game.

I got so frustrated with how matches have been going and the crappy "updates/nerfs on NA that I said screw all of it and sold everything and bought a rusky tier 1 and used all my free xp and captain xp for that one captain. I'd rather just play tier 1 with bots than deal with all the stupidity

Flam, whats annoying is that we miss so much in this game due to heavy focus on certain events. Which is understandable but wouldnt it be much smarter to have a second broadcaster watch on a second screen to also check out the other side and call it out? Its a nice vid regardless, just think it would be so much better if we know whats happening on the other side

of course one shouldn't expect a player in the finals of a tournament like KOtS to remember to mount a detonation flag. much better to blame game mechanics for a personal mistake
