I feel like he went through something like a post-show depression during those 21 months. When you spent half of your life being a singer/actor then suddenly your main creative outlet is gone, it's not surprising that you feel empty. Thank you Michael Ende's Momo for guiding him during those times.
The details, the thoughts, and the work he put into both his albums are worthy of praise. Not only did he create masterpieces, but he also adds emotions and meanings to them relating EXOL in one or every way which is why he is the best leader that I know of. one of the things that i love about suho's albums is the live instruments sound. for some reason songs just sound more authentic that way. even if you compare with other rock-influenced k-pop songs, suho's sound is different. i think he's more k-band/k-indie than k-pop

This feels so personal. I don’t think I ever felt this close to Suho. Idk if it’s because he was away I forgot this relationship with him, but listening to him, it felt like I was reading a letter addressed to me. It felt like he was talking to me. I miss interactions like these with EXO, with all members very inactive on SNS.
The only time I think EXOs r around their 30s is when they talk; the calmness, the wisdom n how deep they think about everything, their maturity. I'm gifted to have known these men

In all honesty, I am so glad that all of the feelings that I feel while listening to your album is intended. I don't think I've found another album in K Pop that has this level of cohesiveness. Everything is so put together, and I honestly feels like listening to an album from a musical. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

It was neither boring nor long. I loved hearing the origin and the development of the album. I'm seriously in awe of how much of his thought process and his feelings he's willing to share with us. We've been getting so much content, as we did with Self Portrait, and not only does that make the comeback more fun for us, but we get to know him better as an artist and as a person. After watching this video, I feel like I've fallen for him again, even though he's been one of my favorites for a long time.

I've forgotten he already did a little session like this for his first album so when I knew it was about explaining his new album with more depth I was quite happy. It is always interesting to know which thoughts were behind the song he wrote. Now that I am at the end of this video I remember feeling emotional the same way I am right now because he always has his fans in his thoughts. Of course his songs are a depiction of him but he loves us so much it's really touching. When he teared up I was already crying so hard hahaha. I know how hard it is to accept this "grey suit" I guess like him I thought I just took it off but it's a part of me. His words hit home and I guess I still have some work to accept myself as I am. I couldn't be more thankful for his wise words and for sharing his own vulnerability

매일 아침마다 글자 그대로 회색 정장을 입고 출근을 하는데, 취업준비할때는 참 걷고 싶던 그 길이 어느 순간 옷 색깔처럼 칙칙하게 느껴지더라. 그런데 출근길에 이번 앨범 트랙을 순서대로 들으면서 지하철을 타고 있으면 옥죄고 있던 정장이 가볍게 느껴지고 일상에 환기가 되는 느낌이 들었어. 덜 뜬 해를 보며 모닝스타를 듣고, 나와 비슷한 옷차림들 사이에서 그레이수트를 듣고, 출근이 싫어질 차에는 허들을 듣고. 이제보니 준면이가 지난 약 2년간 나와 비슷한 시간을 보내며 느낀 감정을 다른 사람들이 덜 느끼도록 하기 위해 이번 앨범을 준비한게 아닌가 하는 생각이 드네. 정말 상냥하고 좋은 앨범을 만들어줘서 고마워🥰❣️
I think the way he is involved so deeply into making his albums - from thinking about the concept, planning what the album will consist of, participating in writing the lyrics, and actually promoting the album in music shows just to show his capabilities and to satiate the hunger of the fans - all of these makes the album more special . Some people ask, "why he got so much promotion ? why he got the privilege while some other artist didn't ?", the truth is, this isn't a priviledge. He actually works the hardest to schedule everything in his time, he takes challenges, and works hard for it, He plans everything and actually goes for what he wants. It's not "what Suho wants, Suho gets", rather it's "what Suho wants, Suho works hard to get and then actually gets it done himself !"
Watching this made me admire Suho more. He’s not just a handsome idol who can sing but an artist in the real sense. I love how happy and excited he is while explaining each track from the album. Beyond his breathtaking visual lies a man with a sexy brain that makes him so damn attractive. one of the things that i love about suho's albums is the live instruments sound. for some reason songs just sound more authentic that way. even if you compare with other rock-influenced k-pop songs, suho's sound is different. i think he's more k-band/k-indie than k-pop

나는 이번 수호 앨범으로 정말 많은 위로를 받았고,
자존감이 낮고 자신감도 없어졌던 내가
너의 손 잡고 나도 다채로워질 수 있겠구나 하는 희망을 느꼈어.
이 영상 마지막에서 손잡고 같이 더 다채로워지자고 말하는데

I've forgotten he already did a little session like this for his first album so when I knew it was about explaining his new album with more depth I was quite happy. It is always interesting to know which thoughts were behind the song he wrote.
Now that I am at the end of this video I remember feeling emotional the same way I am right now because he always has his fans in his thoughts. Of course his songs are a depiction of him but he loves us so much it's really touching.
When he teared up I was already crying so hard hahaha. I know how hard it is to accept this "grey suit" I guess like him I thought I just took it off but it's a part of me. His words hit home and I guess I still have some work to accept myself as I am.
I couldn't be more thankful for his wise words and for sharing his own vulnerability

매일 아침마다 글자 그대로 회색 정장을 입고 출근을 하는데, 취업준비할때는 참 걷고 싶던 그 길이 어느 순간 옷 색깔처럼 칙칙하게 느껴지더라. 그런데 출근길에 이번 앨범 트랙을 순서대로 들으면서 지하철을 타고 있으면 옥죄고 있던 정장이 가볍게 느껴지고 일상에 환기가 되는 느낌이 들었어. 덜 뜬 해를 보며 모닝스타를 듣고, 나와 비슷한 옷차림들 사이에서 그레이수트를 듣고, 출근이 싫어질 차에는 허들을 듣고. 이제보니 준면이가 지난 약 2년간 나와 비슷한 시간을 보내며 느낀 감정을 다른 사람들이 덜 느끼도록 하기 위해 이번 앨범을 준비한게 아닌가 하는 생각이 드네. 정말 상냥하고 좋은 앨범을 만들어줘서 고마워🥰❣️
I think the way he is involved so deeply into making his albums - from thinking about the concept, planning what the album will consist of, participating in writing the lyrics, and actually promoting the album in music shows just to show his capabilities and to satiate the hunger of the fans - all of these makes the album more special . Some people ask, "why he got so much promotion ? why he got the privilege while some other artist didn't ?", the truth is, this isn't a priviledge. He actually works the hardest to schedule everything in his time, he takes challenges, and works hard for it, He plans everything and actually goes for what he wants. It's not "what Suho wants, Suho gets", rather it's "what Suho wants, Suho works hard to get and then actually gets it done himself !"
