The Goodfellas Smile - Shibusa Shave Soap | Shave & Chat

Hello and welcome to another TRC Shave and Chat. I am DK and today, we will be showcasing The Goodfellas Smile shaving soap! I've never used a soap from this artisan so I give my first impressions as well as discuss some descriptive words for describing lather. I hope you enjoy!

I agree with you sir. The protection always comes from the shaving hand and what's between the ears. If the soap is slick, it will work fine. With respect to scent, keep in mind that ADP has a ton of different fragrances. Nice job!

I wouldn’t recommend Good Fellas Shibusa, but it smelled good and works just fine. For the price there are better options though. In terms of lather, RazoRock I’ve found is the best in my opinion, it just feels higher quality lather than Good Fellas, and Zingari Man offers stronger scents. My only disappointments with Good Fellas is the scent is weaker than others and lather doesn’t feel as luxurious. But for someone who is still using nasty Gillette gel, goodfellas blows them out of the water. I’m still using the shibusa 2 no complaining.
