    The best thing about this programme is all the specialist craftsmen they meet along the way.

    2:37 What TH-camr would possibly describe "kicking a Lotus Seven to death!!!", then I realised its Quest TV an MSM channel!!! This is the reason why we love TH-cam so much and why the MSM hasn't got a future!!!

    Wauw, 10.500 Pounds. In the last years I have never seen such a nice Mk4 been advertised for so little. My favourite seventies sportscar and still reasonable affordable

    Change the wheels (?), Ministyle wheels are period correct but the brand Lotus wheels are very nice too. The yellow nosecone was nicer and more original Lotus as the racing stripes

    I can't see that it was worth changing the tank. People like 'race' upgrades in a fairly pure sports car

      I think they did that just because the show would have been boring had they not. They didn't really do much else to the car.

    That engine alone is worth 5 grand if you can find one. The 40 Webbers are music to the ears when decelerating, and on par with a BSA Gold Star. Every petrol head should drive one once in their lifetime before retiring to the boring SUVs that are everywhere!

    • @alexday5892
      @alexday5892 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The twin cam fitted to the escort gt block or 711M. The 2000 cc block wasn’t what Lotus used for the 7s

      No.... the kit cars copied the 7...as in the Dutton B Plus...one of which I owned back in the 70s, as well as a Series 4 Seven, and a Series 3.
