Gambia is clean, I love the architecture of the old colonial buildings and wow to the person who did a picture of George Floyd, thanks African Tigress cannot wait for the next

I am actually rewatching this video. This is good work showing us different parts of Africa. I like how different religions in Gambia coexist with each other
This really beautiful, but all the landmarks need to be renamed after our own people. A European would NEVER name anything after an African so we should not either.
In other parts of Africa, like in South Africa, everything named after it's colonial and apartheid's past is being changed. From Airports to streets! And all memorials celebrating those dreadful past days are being brought down!
However, The sad reality of South Africa today is that yesterday's freedom fighters are today the country's corrupt leaders. So the vast majority of people will always be the losers..and that's soo sad.
First and foremost, Banjul city is an island which is well over 200 years old and was founded in 1816 and currently has a population of less than 30,000 people living there, therefore it’s important to keep most of those old buildings, heritage sites and archeology in good shape for historical tourism otherwise once you knocked them down and replace it with fancy skyscrapers and luxury homes, all those 200 years history and ancient architecture will be erased.
Gambia is predominantly Muslim population along with Senegal, Guinea Conakry,Mali and Mauritania. In Gambia seems interesting Christians and Muslims living, interacting with each other in harmony
Hope that wahabi money and influence from Saudi Arabia will not sweep that beautiful country like it had in Pakistan Bangladesh Malaysia and Somalia turning it's population very radical and intolerant
@@liveenjoy6821 You read my mind exactly. They are accepting too much money from Saudi Arabia for the OIC Conference next year. Gambians have always coexisted peacefully regardless of religion but Whahhabi Islamism is horrible and slowly creeping in, attempting to radicalize the Muslims. They try to turn the secular government into a theocracrafic Islamist state. This current president is better than the previous dictator who promoted discrimination against Christians.
