The cardstock of the French Lumina tarot is fantastic, blows the indie version out of the water.

@@fairlighttarot I forget what version of the Indie Lumina that I have, but it's the one with the famously awful cardstock. The French version feels more "indie" in terms of cardstock between the two, more robust and a nicer tuck box... and it was cheaper.

I think so! At list for what I could see on Baba Studio’s Facebook page. They post a few videos of the cards. It certainly looks better but of course I don’t have it so I can’t guarantee it. Thanks for watching 🙏🥰
Really appreciated this video, I was really sad to miss The Lost Forest Tarot so very happy it’s coming back & had no idea about it, I was lucky enough to get a 1st edition of The Tyldwick Tarot when it first came out, its definitely a better edition, thanks so much for this video.

The Lost Forester deck is absolutely stunning. It genuinely makes you the storyteller and lays out the landscape of the reading. What a beautiful idea.

I'm so excited for all of these - I've been preordering like crazy! I also know of another one - I had contact with the creator, and apparently the Jolanda Tarot has been picked up by Inner Traditions, maybe as early as this Christmas!

Thank you so much for sharing this excellent info! I'm so grateful for this discussion and for observations on OOP prices in the midst of a mass market release that you mention near the end. I recently did a video on OOP prices and I truly hope keeping the discourse alive--on how these prices work, on what we're willing to spend, on when and if there will be a reprint--will better inform us on how we spend. Down with OOP prices. 😆
I know what you mean, in some cases it’s really gotten out of hands! I’m trying to educate myself not to cave to inflation and refuse to buy an OOP deck for excessive prices but sometimes it’s the only way to get a deck. Still, I believe that if enough people stood against that there would be more success!

I am very interested in the tyldwick tarot, the curious travels and the lumina tarot. Maybe one of these will find its way to me.
I've been eyeing on the French lumina many times before, but couldn't decide myself for it, because I'd prefer the English Edition...
So many decisions to make... 🙄😂
I think they’re going back and forth a lot when it comes to the Lumina, I keep on seeing it on Amazon but there’s never really a date. Hopefully they solve whatever hurdle keeps them from releasing it and they go ahead. I’m sure there will be plenty of demand for that deck 🥰
I just noticed that the 9 of Fire in the Lost Forest Tarot has 9 firey orange spikes as the beast's mane. :)

Oh no, pre-orders for the Tyldwick have closed :/ I really hope I can get my hands on the 3rd edition because I've been wanting this deck forever and was so bummed that I couldn't get the 2nd edition. Thank you for giving us a heads up about all of these! I'm also waiting on the Curious Travels Tarot :)
I know! Last time I checked it was still available but the website keeps on crashing when I try to open it. Hopefully they’ll make it available again 🙏🤞 I’m so curious about the Curious Travels 🥰 I wonder if they’ll keep the gold stamping 😎

The Tyldwick is showing out of stock for pre-orders right now. I think he is opening sales back up later this year.
I still can’t open the website! By the time of filming I left the browser and it kept crashing. I’m thinking Mercury Rx has a lot to explain 😂 Thanks for the update, hopefully they’ll make it available soon 🥰
I'm overjoyed to hear the BAE Tarot is coming out in a second edition! I have two copies of the first edition - one opened and one unopened - and I'm paranoid about using them. From the moment they were shiped out, they were worth at least $400 each. I will be first in line for the second edition.

If an artist does a pre-order, they're legally obligated to provide the deck. If they do a Kickstarter, they don't ever have to provide the deck. They can take the money and run because Kickstarter is very clear in their terms of service that you're giving money to support the artist's vision, not to buy the deck. There have been a few artists who have done Kickstarters for decks and never delivered the deck.
I know, unfortunately there’s not much protection for the backers. A friend of mine has had such a bad experience (not just never getting the deck but also being bothered by dozens of emails from the creator asking for more money) that she’s not backing projects anymore. I’ve been kind of lucky so far because the only issues I had were with shipping but I know that it could’ve been much worse!
I had the lumina on pre order on Amazon and then they took it off. I really want it badly. I can't even find the French version now.
I know, I've had my "pre-order" in "See all Buying Options" and then nothing! Let's just hope it's some delays and nothing more!
I’ve been getting these little by little. I can’t find the Lost Hollow. I tried to find the store you got yours from, but I can’t find the website.
It’s now OOP unfortunately! There’s a new edition with red borders but I don’t know if Moonamaia has it in stock. The other option is to post an ISO on a Facebook group or perhaps try your luck by contacting the creator? The instagram account is pixeloccult. Let me know if you have any luck otherwise I can get in touch with Moonamaia and ask her if she’s got any stock left at all 🤞🤞🤞🥰

I wish! The last time I spoke to Julie she said she was going to think about it but it depended on how much demand there was for it. I think the best way is to contact her on Instagram and let her know that you’re interested. I’ll reach out to her as well 🥰

I really appreciate that 🙏❤️ They need to be suitable for Australian customs as I will need to fill in the declaration so nothing flammable (spray or incense or palo santo are considered flammable, books and tarot cards are not) nor organic. They also want to know the category (for example playing cards) and quantity (for example 1 deck). You’re very kind for thinking of me 🥰. I know it’s a bit complicated, sorry! Aussie customs are very strict 🥺
@@fairlighttarot The packages I've received from international sellers have been marked as playing cards and the quantity. I would be posting them as gifts (which they are) but not sure if Australia needs a valuation, as I don't want you to have to pay customs on the gifts!
@@vadal4043 if you post them as gifts it's fine, I will also mark them as gifts in the declaration. They only check for invoices in the package so that people don't cheat in the declaration :)
