Geats IX's original suit is so sacred in status that it only appears as CG henshin effect on both X and Dooms, while the actual suit is Lone Wolf armor x Volcano Rex arms-legs
Fun fact, the chest piece for Lone Wolf Vulcan actually saw its first use with Kamen Rider Ichigata, only the collar piece was removed when used with Lone Wolf Vulcan
With how much Rider reuses and retools, I could probably make figures of various riders and forms that don't have so-do releases, by kitbashing parts from various existing figures.
8:46 I can barely make them out. Props on figuring out what they're made from. Unfortunately, this now means I have to find a spare SO-DO Imperer head and a SO-DO DGP Rider body, cause I want to own a SO-DO figure of every rider.
Geat and buffa truly had great form. Truly sad that tycoon didn't had other form like these two heck nago only had the upper part and that suck while geat, buffa and of course Tycoon had completed set armour . If only there either a spin off or gaiden movie specifically tycoon and nago about they experience and reflect they action after the event of the show cuz we already know geat and buffa still edge person but became chill guy after everything he went through even before and after the show.
At first, I thought that too but if you look closely at the "joints" and underneath the armor you will see the original CGI model. Its easier to see this on the Kyuun model but if you look hard enough you will see the original models.
@ then by any chance are there scenes in the show where the CGI models does exposed/reveal said original models model. At least with just this video I tried looking at the scenes I don’t see the original models anywhere and if anything at a stretch their rigging(?) or 3D skeleton (I don’t know 3D modeling). Would’ve been copied or the sort? But that’s still a really big stretch.
Just google the images as I do admit the clips from the show doesn't do it justice. Here are some pointers if you do look at the images. 1.) Bebora's rider forms is heavily changed and the only thing that remains is from Breaking Mammoth as the joints at the foot and the belt which is still the same with the exception of the laser driver added on. 2.) Kekera's is heavily modified too with the only thing that remains are the hole in the mouth, claws on feet though slightly modified, and the "ball joints" on the back legs. 3.) Kyuun's is the easiest to spot as you just need to look at the joints that connects the front legs to the torso. Also the foot is modified to add extra ridges to the toes and the armor around the foot is still same. These are modified so heavily that I guess you can consider them new models at this point but parts of the old models are still there you just have to look very closely.
Still really hated how Bujin Sword was a retool. There was no damn excuse or reason to do it like that since they clearly had enough budget, its clearly a planned form and its item was not a retool. Planned final forms(especially for at least Primary and Secondary Riders) should be new suits because its quite unfitting and hurts quality if they were retooled stuff. Revice sort of started a crappy trend of the Secondary's Final Form is a retool, hopefully Majade broke that trend before it stays too long.
I can assure you Gotchard had a much higher budget than geats probably just normal It actually had monster suits unlike geats Almost every suit is unique unlike geats The main rider power ups aren’t just a bunch reuses
@@chaosenforcerdhm969 Sadly Valvrad's final form was a retool and they were already retooling stuff when making the side forms. Which I hated. Hopefully they stop retool so much. I miss when the final boss Rider was a ORIGINAL suit. And when all final forms weren't retools(and got a new weapon)
one note, the cgi effects are not "modified", they are built from the ground up, but use the animation set of the ones pointed out. cgi designs are more complex than costumes to build, so aside from some really rare exception like venosnaker, being litterally built over the blood stalk cobra projection. some specific pieces can be reused directly, but that's rare, like beroba things everything else's on point
@@serPomiz This is the second time someone tried to say I was wrong so I will just copy and paste my reply. Here these so here are some pointers to see the difference between the cgi models. 1.) @@Unlisted_Archiver0 i was talking from a 3d modeler starting point. it ain't gunpla, nonphysical props works differently and reworking stuff can easilly take more time and budget than just make new parts altogether copy paste and re-skin pieces is a thing, the rest is always modelled from zero
@serPomiz I understand your perspective as a 3D modeler, and you're absolutely right that working with CGI is a different process compared to physical props like costumes. My point, however, is not to oversimplify the work involved in CGI but to highlight that elements of older models are still integrated into the newer ones, even if the majority is reworked or built anew. For example, while something may be "modeled from zero," there are design elements, structures, or animations that carry over, which means it isn't a completely fresh creation in practical terms. These reused elements might be subtle, like joint structures or specific shapes, but they’re there if you look closely enough. Ultimately, I think we're discussing the same idea but framing it differently. I respect the time and effort that goes into rebuilding and reworking these designs, but the evidence of reused components or influences is what I’m trying to point out. Also one quick correction regarding Venosnaker and the Blood Stalk cobra projection: Venosnaker actually predates Blood Stalk’s cobra projection by several years, not the other way around. Venosnaker was introduced during Kamen Rider Ryuki, which aired in 2002, whereas Blood Stalk’s cobra projection debuted in Kamen Rider Build in 2017.
@@Unlisted_Archiver0 for venosnaker I was talking about the updated design, the one they made for the zio extras (and following stuff like outsiders) is a completelly different model from the one used in the original serie the new venosnaker is reskinned from the blosd stalk model, which, given how little it was used, was likely the actual reskin and that model was intended to be the new venosnaker all along. given how data preservation and readability across updates is a mastodonic problem when it comes to animation, that's very likelly
