Great video, thank you. I run the adjusting nut right up to the rear of the body. Then set the needle. This prevents running the needle too far into the tip. I’ve had this airbrush for over 30 years, it’s a tank!
I have been using mine for a bit over 22 years. Paint flow problems are usually an indication of a dirty nozzle. A good cleaning generally takes care of the problems.
Nice video! The only thing I would add is to run some airbrush cleaner through the brush, then remove the nozzle guard, nozzle and tip. Carefully wipe off the front of the needle, then remove the needle from the airbrush. If you simply pull the needle first, you have just drug paint through the body of the airbrush.
Great video! I now feel comfortable taking mine apart without thinking I'll break it!!! I have a question. turning the dial at the back of my 200, should change thespray of paint, however, it does nothing. I've taken it apart, and understand that turning that dial, is supposed to move the needle back and forward slightly to alter the spray. How do I rectify this? I have pulled the needle back a little myself and (finally!) got a spray of paint, but adjusting with the screws doesn't change the paint spray, I need to do it myself.... Is this because one of the screws isn't on correctly, or, does the needle need lube to allow it to move freely when required? Many thanks, Anna
enjoyed the vid, but i hav a question. the needle on mine is SOOOOOOO TIGHT to replace, i thought i was going to break it! Or will it settle down with use?
Hi I have a short question and I hope you can help me. This is my 1st airbrush and my expiriance is very limited. I was experimenting with this airbrush to undercote some GW figures, however after 10 min of use paint stoped coming out but air is still coming out, I am using canded air not a compressor.
I have been using mine for leather repair's. My trouble is after I finished a job it was quite late, when I came to the brushes the next day they were clogged with flexible water based pu paint. I tried cleaning out with water (didn't have any pipe cleaners), so I left them both 200 and 150 in thinners. I think I have now damaged seals because I am getting no paint out of either of them. Any suggestions?
I have a quick question about my airbrush, I cant seem to get my airbrush to paint thin lines? I adjust the needle and a burst of paint comes out but then stops. A wider spray patter works fine but the smaller patterns wont flow out of the airbrush. Is my paint to thick or whats wrong? Im using mostly enamel paints and some acrylic all from testors btw.
Haha thanks, i think my paint was too thick. Because when i tried to tighten the needle to make smaller lines the paint would stop then spray a little then stop again. Thanks again

Do you still have the Badger 200, how has it performed over all these years?
Thanks in advance ✌️👍😊
Ah, so the nozzle just sits in place behind the retainer? Cool... Great video
