Xavier Gil Jorba I read that and I fucking hated what they did with Genghis Khan for two reasons. 1. First of all they give him a magical sword and that was the thing that helped him in his conquests, I hate that because it wasn’t Genghis Khan’s sword that gave him power, it was his intelligence, pragmatic and ruthless nature. 2. His Death, instead of dying with dignity he dies like an absolute bitch, trapped under his horse, with a pathetic ‘bad guy’ death speech. If I were to do it, he would’ve fought Altaïr in an epic duel, without any magical sword, the two old men matching each other blow for blow, before getting shot with Qulan’s crossbow. Then in his death he’d remark on the Assassin Brotherhood, (I’m picturing him standing up in that weird death scene AC does) I personally believe he’d call it altruistic yet naive, saying that utter freedom is often catalyst for chaos, that before he came to power and united his people under one strong ruler, the Steppes were a place where nothing was certain and everything was permitted, and that the Order was destined to fall to the same greed, self serving nature and arrogance that infects everything, possibly even himself. Before then dying. That’d be much more fitting end for the Khan of all Mongols.
