    The system of worship in Tulu Nadu (mangalore/udupi) area is so much similar to Kerala cant understand the justification why it is part of Karnataka. Maybe it should be an independent state if the culture needs to preserved in long run.
    Look at the Chenda & Thimila (Called Pani). They are 2 important accompaniments in Kerala temples during the same ritual called as Thooval before the Siveli.
    Also look at the Beli Stones inside the temple. Similar to Kerala Temple Architecture. You have Dakshinamoorthy on South followed by Saptha Mathrukal with Subramanya and Ganapathy (on one peetha). Then you can see Vayu, Nireethi etc.
    Are there any similarities to this with other Karnataka Temples outside this belt?
