Coming from a brutal death metal musician who literally grew up on this band, their Zombie EP (2010) is primo borderline deathcore and definitely their peak. If nothing else, at least check out their song "Dogs Can Grow Beards All Over" as it has a lot of elements you'd appreciate, including slams.

Plagues was also a uniquely visceral and grimy metalcore album from them with tons of SIIIIIIIICK breakdowns. They released a joke grindcore track called "Spongebob Grindpants" around this time that's as fun as it is brief.

Didn't like this band until this album and honestly better than the first 2. After this the singing gets deeper cuz dude grew up haha

even when this came out there were bands u could sniff out that generic formulaic heavy clean heavy sound tdwp an exception u def hit the mark recognizing that

You should check out A Day To Rememeber’s “For Those Who Have Heart” album. A classic in their discography. Perfection.

devil wears prada are a christian band, so ive always pictured the singing parts as the holy parts, and the heavy parts as the evil parts. imo, the singing parts sounding the same is like a message, that which feels familiar and welcoming.

I keep commenting. But its cause i am enjoying this. You know i started metal with this among other bands. Now im deep in the blackened and slamming deathcore. But this is a nice trip

One more thing this is the peak of metalcore. Now metalcore is just deathcore with singing

salt the wound - ares. melodic and heavy. no singing parts. album came out the same year in 2009. also, for the fallen dreams - relentless.

How do you not see the same mediocrity today in the woke community. Not to mention your distain. Hes just like any elitists anydays. Anyways in my opinion all music nomatter how terrible has a place in someones heart. Music is a sacred thing. Pisten to your jam and explore your morals

as for that album, the 1st track is easily the best so it sucks that your expectations got high.. lol
