This one is on par or even better than BTTH. Character design, story, detail, animation are just so crazy cool and detail. both men and women are so beautiful and handsome even monster are very detail aswell. Very polished and smooth asf. This season gonna be awesome!!!!! 😍😍
This made by the studio that created Throne of Seal. BTTH is still the best, although latest season has a bit drop in CG due to budget being spread into many eps. EDIT: There are also other top notch stuff like Ling Cage Incarnation and The Island of Siliang.

The Degenerate Drawing Jianghu is far from this level of animation even tho they recently improve the quality of the animation a lot in the late season but if u watch the earlier season, it's like the level of Martial Master imo. If u say that this level of animation is not as good as most of the current best donghua, I've no idea what u consider as best quality animation. Perfect World is only good at the first then story go down the drain after he fought his cousin brother since the story focus on magic so u dont really see the close combat like BTTH and this donghua specifically. Ling Cage after the first part of the release, it's not as good as before. Jade Dynasty animation is only good part to part and some are like child play plus the story is not that good (respect to the studio and animator for their work tho). Record of a mortal's journey to immortality might cause a lot of money for the production but cause it leans toward realistic too much make the animation seems weird. that's why it's not as popular as other 3D animation like BTTH. i can tell donghua is getting better n better , the facial expression looks nice , the fighting movement really smooth , so detail and cinematic, also the sound effect great , i love donghua in ancient times , but i wish u make donghua 3D series quality fighting like this but in modern current china cities, would be epic fight scene like this in shanghai tower or tiannamen square need more donghua about combination tradiitional martial arts and modern cities,fashion and music ,just like japanese anime did in jujutsu kaisen ,yuyu hakusho,baki, bleach ,chainsaw men, naruto ,they know how to combinate japanese culture and modern japan style
