@@fastj1962 I agree. North Carolina was tough. I think the guy in front of Dante was Scott. He chased me down at a meet in Kentucky. I just couldn’t move my feet that fast. Lol.
@@jonathanabq It was Scott Hiatt. I heard his partner passed away a few years ago. I showed up in shit shape but I pulled it together for my relay partners I worked out all year but I skated for Milpitas a 6 plus hour drive away from my house and drove there every other week leading up to regionals, and ran out of money. Making wheels just wasn't enough income, Didn't go to practice up north one time between regionals and nationals which just did not work for me. The whole reason I switched clubs to skate up there because nobody was skating near me. Curt took the season off and well there was nobody else. Not making an excuse in relays though.Like I said, I pulled it together. this was a dissapointing race, I think we had 3rd place locked up, unfortunately Mike fell....
This was probably the best Senior 2 man final I ever witnessed. It was so good you were almost glad to watch it instead of racing in it. RIP Mark Agner🙏👍👍 Agner & Hiatt
I seem to remember hearing Mark passed, how did that happen? I've been in a few that were pretty exciting, Those two made it happen and Mark was a stone cold killer at the end.
