Puzzle Express - Express mode gameplay

I recently watched a video showing a lot of old small games, and there were a few I recognized, including Puzzle Express. I remember playing this game as a child before I knew English, I definitely played the more chill Scenic mode (no time restrictions on filling vagons) and can't remember if I tried Express. I probably figured out I could fill a square by right-clicking because I was curious.
In Express mode there are two ways to get a Game Over: let the conveyor fill up, or finish the level with the average load time being over the limit, it's important to note that if you discard a block you get time penalty. On the last level I could reach I found that I would get a Game Over regardless of my actions, so I ultimately let the conveyor fill up, instead of delaying the inevitable by discarding lots of blocks and getting a massive time penalty for them.
I added some Worms pictures using the in-game functionality. This is a game with 800x600 resolution so I cropped and downscaled most pictures, they may still look a tad sharp. But I found that as the game progressed the default set of pictures would be more likely to appear.

I played the Scenic mode for a bit today and here are more differences I noticed compared to Express:
- there's a higher chance that there will be a single track instead of 2 or 3 on one screen
- wide wagons appear interchangeably with the regular ones (in Express they only appear in Bonus rounds)
- when you discard a piece, you're penalized by having a single destroyed, IDK what happens if you're out of singles
