- The Clone Army Theme Slowed and Reverbed. The original song is great but the slowed version takes it to a new level. Slowing it down makes it sound darker and closer to the droid theme.

Damn, that deeper bass sound for the Clone Army theme reminded me a lot of the themes for Mordor and Isengard from The Lord of the Rings. However you slice it, epic films in the the 2000s had epic villain themes!
If Tarkin had made the smarter choice and kept the clones in service under the Empire as the main source of soldiers.
Or perhaps had the clones become a specialized unit, as to keep the idea that citizens have to serve.
So you can still have stormtroopers, but moment you see vader, you know hes got some clone wars vets with him.
@@awhahoo That's how it was in Legends, that used to be the explanation why the stormtroopers on the Tantive IV and on Hoth were so much more effective than other stormtroopers

stormtroopers are ridiculously underrated, yeah clones were fantastic fighting units but thats what they were for; elite fighting units designed to fight wars, not maintain public order and destroy insurrections like stormtroopers were intended to do. on the logistical side of clones, they were also more expensive, took far longer to effectively train, and the DNA degraded over time and was always vulnerable to corruption
not only that but one of the main issues with clones was that they stigmatized and alienated the public. they were essentially droids in the eyes of the public, which greatly soured public opinion on clone units. with public enlistment of the empire, it gave everyone a chance to serve, which made the public feel a lot less alienated and gave many an opportunity for a better life. especially in outer rim territories long neglected by the republic
also, one common misconception i absolutely despise is that stormtroopers were not complete buckethead idiots like they are commonly depicted, especially in rebels. yes, they arent the best. but they certainly are not the worst. its also common sense youd have to genuinely be brain dead to be on the level stormtroopers are depicted as
Tarkin was smart to put Clones out of service, they all had grown far too attached to their fallen Jedi comrades. They would have proven useless after their primary use since overall, Clones are a far more expensive unit of militia and the Empire was focusing all its resources on the Death Star project. Stormtroopers are underrated, Obi-Wan commended them for their extreme precision and Stormtroopers overwhelm Rebel troops on most occasions. Clones are obviously the better unit, favoring quality over quantity, but Stormtroopers know how to control their numbers and each and every single one of them are well trained. Clones were far too much of an investment for the Empire, they were expensive and didn’t fit the Empire’s long term goals.

The Clone Army Theme is from what I remember the remade Imperial March at end of AOTC right as your see Palpatine oversee the clones on Coruscant.

Awesome, but I’ll always associate this with the CIS rather than the GAR, as it’s the theme (alongside the Trade Fed theme from TPM) the OG Clone Wars media project pre- and post-ROTS associated with them rather consistently (apart from Order 66, I know). Old habits die hard. :) Great work again tho!
