I always prefer the Force Unleashed version of her death. The ROTS deleted scene and that snippet in TCW never made sense to me considering Shaak’s echolocation enhanced by her Jedi training.
When it comes to lightsaber duelling, Anakin was a step above almost everyone. Of the Jedi, only the likes of Windu and Yoda stood a chance of beating him head on, Dooku in his prime would also have stood a fair chance. Obi Wan was the only other Jedi capable of taking him on, not because he matched him as a duellist but because he could stall almost indefinitely and knew Anakin well enough to frustrate him into beating himself.
Obi Wan just knew Anakin, just as he knew the best way to best Maul in the desert. Sometimes it’s all in the matchup, especially in one on one combat, hand to hand or with weaponry. The defeat on Mustafar, is because Obi Wan was still the better force user, and tactician. He’s won fights against many who had more experience, or were considered better duelists.
Actually there was one more Jedi that could and did best Vader in a duel post Mustafar besides Obi-Wan. Her name was Bultar Swan she had a brief cameo as one of the few Jedi survivors at the Battle of Geonosis. She and a few other Jedi plotted revenge against Vader by allowing word to leak to Vader that Kenobi was with them as Vader was obsessed with killing Kenobi after what happened on Mustafar. Vader found them screaming for Kenobi and swiftly killed most of the Jedi but Swan was a superb martial artist and Duelist and quickly brought Vader to his knees in combat . Her fatal mistake was that she could not kill Vader because it wasn't the Jedi way. One Jedi had fallen to the dark side in his rage and need for revenge.He stabbed her in the back killing her instantly and gave Vader the moment he needed to kill the remaining Jedi of the group. Palpatine spun the battle as an overwhelming victory led by Swan as the traitor who was led a group of insurrectionists whom Vader killed. Propaganda to hide the fact that if it wasnt for Swan taking mercy on him the events of the Original Trilogy would not have taken place. Swan is the untold superb warrior very few knew about During the Purge that could have ended the massacre if she would have killed Vader .
That's a good point, and answers the question I was about to ask SW of why Obi Wan could beat him. It helps to explain why Vader never had the confidence to take on Palpatine after having lost so badly to his much weaker Jedi master.
Imagine seeing the chosen one walking towards you, confident and filled with rage, a trail of death and mayhem behind him, and you look to your brothers, each thinking the same thing ... "Hold the line" I'd love to get that scene on film

All of this definitely shows the wisdom and cunning of Sidious too. He knew exactly when to time operation nightfall so that anyone that could’ve posed a real threat to Anakin was either eliminated or off world, with Shaak Ti being the only exception to that who Anakin basically worked his way towards.
I appreciate Lord Vader's wisdom with desiring to eliminate Master Shaak Ti first. She's a beast pretty much everywhere in Star Wars lore. I still like the battle between her and Starkiller, though. I wish THAT were canon.

You missed Bene the Palawan that was fighting alongside Cin Dralling in the holograms. She was getting choked by Vader while he was fighting Cin Dralling with one hand.
I really thought Cin Drallig would’ve stood more of a chance against Vader, two of the best duelists in the Jedi order, I would’ve loved to see a full duel on screen
My main problems with this story is that neither the shows or the movies ever really explain what really happened during Order 66 cuz so much stuff have been thrown out there and the comics and the games confuses things up such as Grogu’s backstory

The one man who ripped apart the galaxy with the clone wars, destroyed the republic from within, brought tyranny and oppression and manipulated him, Anakin/Vader, into doing the dirty work by baiting him with false promises of power to save the ones he loves. Vader killed the most evil psychopath in the galaxy who's existence is the sole reason for every disaster happening in the movies. It's the best thing Vader could do: He full filled the prophecy, saved his son and therefor the new Jedi Order and made the rebirth of the republic possible.

This is very disturbing. If Shaak Ti railed the Jedi maybe they could do something. I think there are few Jedi who survived the raid and when unto hiding,fought against the Empire on some missions,joined the rebellions and of course Rebellion. If Shaak Ti had rallied the remaining Jedi for a final stand it wouldn’t have made difference. Not because Dark Anakin & the 501st were too much for them, but pragmatically as a story told it would have been a scene that we’ve already seen - the Battle of Geonosis, but inside the Jedi Temple this time. It would’ve been more exciting to see on screen no doubt, but not as memorable or as tragic as the siege ended up being in the end.

I think if Shak Ti could have regrouped with Cin Drallig, and gotten in line with a large group od Padawans and the addition of a small posse ofknights to the frey and they may have been able to at least grievously wound him if not outright kill him because even a youngling can succesefully stymie a fair amount of troopers while the ranking Jedi handle Skywalker.
I would rather be a superhero than a force user I mean at least with a villain you know what your up against but with a lightsaber you'll always be surprised because you don't know the skill of your opponent and the worst part about it is no amount of combat training can prepare you for a duel against a sith the Jedi sith wars were super bloody so my enemies with different levels of combat skill is scary to think about because if you can't beat them with the lightsaber you know your going to die because the force can't save you from their attacks

That sentiment is truly understandable, but before you judge Anakin, remember, the action alone does not make someone a murderer, but also what is inside a person does too. No, Yoda knows Obi-Wan has a good shot because Obi knew Vader so well, his tendencies and such. When the Jedi Temple fell after Order 66, Yoda and Obi-Wan returned there with all Jedi's dead. Obi asked to go after Palpatine (he doesn't want to face his padawan), but Yoda said "nope, you have no chance against Palpatine, I'll go after him. You go finish off Vader".

Shaak TI is the 6th best duelist, Anakin as a form 4/5 user ,Master Kenobi, Plo Koon, Qui-gon's master, Mace Windu and Yoda are highly skilled with their Plasmablade. And about Nick GIllard he mentioned while being as Jedi battlemaster Cin, "(the one with the green plasmablade") during the movie production, he and Hayden Christensen dueled together for that scene in the Order 66 fight of Cin Drallic vs Anakin skywalker(as Vader). Nick described the details.
The EU of Operation Knightfall makes more sense than Disney Canon because there was no Surving Jedi in that temple when Anakin and his 501st legion massacre the temple and they make sure all the Jedi are dead and they made a holo message of surviving Jedi from Order 66 to return to the Jedi Temple where they can be gunned down. After that, they burned their bodies in public and left the temple to rot, until it becomes a ruin as a warning for those who turn on the Galactic Empire.

She does. But Vader eventually kills her a few weeks,months after order 66? Sidious was honestly terrified of her potential to ruin the empire early on. Her knowledge of the Jedi ways and force made her a big threat long-term. She could have single handedly brought the order back from the ashes.

I mean the man was casually countering and killed cin drallig while choking a padawan out in another hand. Note that cin drallig is literally a Jedi master who mastered all forms of lightsaber combat.

Obi wan and palpatine were never Anakin/vaders rival. There was both his masters and enemies at one point or another but never rivals.

No, Yoda knows Obi-Wan has a good shot because Obi knew Vader so well, his tendencies and such.
When the Jedi Temple fell after Order 66, Yoda and Obi-Wan returned there with all Jedi's dead. Obi asked to go after Palpatine (he doesn't want to face his padawan), but Yoda said "nope, you have no chance against Palpatine, I'll go after him. You go finish off Vader".
I wonder how it would have went down if Mace got back there in time. Think Anakin could take him? Consider that there were other Jedi to back Windu up, but the 501st could take a good number of them down

It allows him to immediately see weakpoints in combat and general situations. Anakin is notoriously far to arrogant...The exact reason why Obi Wan keeps spanking him. So instead of it being Obi Wan getting lucky...Hed be dealing with a Jedi Master second only to Yoda himself, able to beat Palpatine, and whose literal special ability is to exploit weaknesses far before anyone else.

7:44 thats still debatable. All we see in yoda’s “vision” is Shaak Ti dying by a blue lightsaber. Who else kills jedi with a blue lightsaber? Grievous. Also in season 7 of the Clone Wars obi wan says they lost contact with Shaak Ti who was guarding the chancellor.
That's because her and stass Allie alongside a few padawans were in charge of getting palpatine to a bunker however grievous killed the padawans and sent magnaguards to deal with stass Allie and shaak ti, stass tells shaak to go on ahead while she and now arrived kit fisto deal with the magnaguards but grevious traps shaak ti in electro cables inside the bunker after a brief duel, she is later found by mace and kit suspended in the cables

Shaak TI is the 6th best duelist, Anakin as a form 4/5 user ,Master Kenobi, Plo Koon, Qui-gon's master, Mace Windu and Yoda are highly skilled with their Plasmablade.
And about Nick GIllard he mentioned while being as Jedi battlemaster Cin, "(the one with the green plasmablade") during the movie production, he and Hayden Christensen dueled together for that scene in the Order 66 fight of Cin Drallic vs Anakin skywalker(as Vader).

The EU of Operation Knightfall makes more sense than Disney Canon because there was no Surving Jedi in that temple when Anakin and his 501st legion massacre the temple and they make sure all the Jedi are dead and they made a holo message of surviving Jedi from Order 66 to return to the Jedi Temple where they can be gunned down. After that, they burned their bodies in public and left the temple to rot, until it becomes a ruin as a warning for those who turn on the Galactic Empire.
Episode 3 isn't Disney canon. It came long before
