This is still the best dungeon IMO. The glitches suck, but the mechanics, story, and design is amazing. It’s a good challenge without being bs, unlike Ghosts of the Deep.
It would be if the second encounter wasn't so boring. Idk why they thought it would be a good idea to make the bosses 3 weak guys with no time limit to even kill them.

Its really free on prism warlock, run the getaway artist setup in his gm vids with healing rift and whatever weapons you like (i personally use a voltshot primary with mountaintop and microcosm as a "do everything" loadout)
There are 4 symbols that are used in each encounter- axes, chalice, sun, dog/war beast. In the first encounter, go into the side room that has enemies, the pain drops a standard (in his video the first one he got was sun). Pick it up, then the room to drop it in is always the same. Second encounter, there are two symbols on the floor in the middle. They correspond with a corner, which you can see by looking at the small wall (you’ll have to go around to see it, it’s not visible from the middle). He looks at it around 19:30. The best way is to stand there before going into the nightmare room so you don’t get turned around, since you can’t see the symbols otherwise. In Calus, two symbols show up along the bell. There are also symbols along each ledge where the psions jump out. At 34:45 you can see the sun symbol. Stand there before going to the nightmare room and that will be the standard bearer you need.
What is the Gahlran play? Before the the nightmare realm he leaves the yellow bar centurion with a sliver of health before shooting the bell to shut the door and kill the shadows of Gahlran. Does that allow him to get 2 of the standards?
The yellow bar centurion, after you deposit a standard and the doors open with the dogs, doesn’t matter. You can just walk in the room and shoot the bell. The play actually happens in the Nightmare realm - find and kill a scion in one of the 4 rooms, pick up its standard, then go find the other scion and kill it. This will drop the standard, but don’t pick it up. At this point, as long as you killed the 2 bell keepers, just go to and hit the bell and leave the nightmare realm. Now you’ll deposit the one standard you did pick up, walk into the room, shoot the bell like normal, and kill those shadows so the door to exit that hallway opens. Now you will run to the same room you killed that other scion earlier, and you’ll notice that the standard you didn’t pick up earlier is still on the floor and the scion has respawned. DON’T kill the scion. Just pick up that second standard and leave the nightmare realm. Now, when you deposit that second standard and go into the nightmare realm you’ll see that scion in the room with the shadows. Killing it will add extra time for the DPS phase.
Always has been. Seems that they at least fixed the transition bells where, if shot too much, would do a secondary type of explosion and kill u. That really sucked
Caitatl is omega infuriating to fight solo for some fucking reason every time I get to damage that is when my spring button doesn’t work and I’m all the way across the map from her when she is running and it’s fucking pissing me off. At least during ghost of the deep the flying bastard would float in place all you had to do was run and shoot rockets but nooooo we need three different mechanics for you to do in order to even damage her once let alone three separate times

Red borders are a pain to get and have a lowish drop rate and sometimes the RNG gods don't want us to have them haha

Easiest is probably to do the dawning chorus / whisper of the worm build with the solar rocket sidearm.

I find prismatic with get away artist and buried bloodline (with catalyst) to be the most comfortable to flawless solo dungeons with.

Yes I have done 90% of the health with acrius & star eater nova bomb. I still had time left so It is possible but tight damage phase.

Verity’s is universal, but I’m surprised your surprised as it’s mostly been a void exotic in most builds
