To avoid the grab of the top card, just control the card on the bottom, or 4th - fifth from the top. If you control it on the bottom it will be quite easy to do the move completely hidden, if you control it 4th or 5th you can cull the card and proceed as described, it’s quite dangerous take the first card as showed, even if since the spectator believe his card is lost, it should appear not important also if the move is seen, just do it naturally without watch the deck, as suggested in the video. Just my 2 cents.
Exactly. I mean, I just started doing cardtricks, and I'm not in any way an expert in controling the deck (I have no idea how to control anywhere else but to the top or to the bottom, let alone what that culling might be), but for me it's a lot easier and way less suspicious to pull the selected card among the two helper card from the bottom.
you all probably dont care at all but does any of you know a trick to get back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid forgot the login password. I appreciate any assistance you can offer me
@Ignacio Leonardo Thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and Im in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Bro i liked the trick and your video. I always reveal the tricks before tutorial and from the first watch but here you get the cards out of the camera while doing the main move in the trick which make me watch the complete video to make sure of that missing second
I like to control the card to the bottom and pull it under the top pile when setting the reveal up, it makes it much harder to catch, always a great trick to start off with
My suggestion could be...to control the card 5th from the top...then cull it to the middle of the two helpers...makes it more invisible and less awkward...great video man..love the content
Yes clean handling but the removal of the top card to the jokers was done off camera, presumably because he couldn't misdirection in a video and the move would have been obvious.
Amazing trick MLT! I have another variation for all of the advanced magicians. You could control their position in the 4th position and then do a cull placing their card in between the two helper cards. It just looks like you are spreading too the first helper card. Keep up the amazing daily uploads! #Roadto400K!
Just found your channel, subscribed to help get you to 400K. I have this silly idea of doing a mom and daughter magic show, I think I need to wait a little while - she is only 5 1/2. How old were you when you started doing magic?
Fun fact is you didn't have the confidence to perform this trick with grabbing the card in front of us so you intentionally did that move behind the camera 😂😂😂
Nice trick but the part where you should avoid being watched when shuffling card from top down to center, keeps feeling awkward.. Would be better if there is a way from bottom to middle..
No wonder why I didn't see the bloody move, you move your hand of screen to cover it. Though I must commend, that's exactly how you would misdirect irl too, using blind spot.
I always mess up in getting the spectator's card on the top. Plz, make magic videos in which the spectator's card need not be on the top. Plz, this is my humble request.
why don’t you control it to the bottom and while you are spreading you can bring the card from the bottom where it won’t be seen… this way you don’t have to rely on misdirection to make the trick work
The move would be a lot easier if you brought the card to the bottom of the pack. Your fingers could easily slide the bottom card to the right under the spread and a lot less movement and misdirection would be required. (having said that) I'm not too sure how I feel about these demonstrations/exposures.There are concepts that you would 'nt have to expose to the curious like controlled shuffles and breaks etc. The people that watch your channel are not professional magicians and a lot of this inside material is beyond their reach anyway from the comments you get on a regular basis. There are a TON of great SELF WORKING card tricks in BEGINNER books that are used to TEACH beginners.Sorry, but it was bad enough for magicians that earn a LIVING (that PAID REAL $$$$ for these secrets) before the internet without delivering the goods to the average person that would rather expose the magician than perform as one! I taught a magic class in a local college classroom and you must judge the audiences/students abilities before designing the lessons. My library alone cost me around $3500 (easily). and I learned these concepts as I developed ability and cash to pay my dues (so to speak)
Whose learning these card tricks during quarantine?

Using a bluff pass would be a nice way to get the card 4 or 5 from the top
that was really cool wasn't expecting that at all, didnt see how the card could get from the top to the middle
how do you think my magic tricks on my page..

You are the best! I enjoy watching you so much
I feel you should control the card to the bottom that way you can cleanly spread with no misdirection and place the card between the two helpers
Yes
Awesome trick. I did this trick to my parents and they were speechless. Thank you😊😊😊
That's great. Thank you!
This trick is really cool. I am terrible at card control though.

@2025: David Rodriguez Correa What is that supposed to mean??
This channel is quality.
Excellent trick. Would it be easier to control the selection to the bottom? Keep up the good work!

Thanks for subscribing. I started when was I around 14, but even younger kids can be entertained by magic tricks!
Awsome
Your hands went out of frame in the presentation when you were slipping the selected card into place.
Yep. If you were trying to figure out the trick, you wouldn't be able to due to part of the trick not being shown.
He told to misdirect the spectator.
speechless
im magician but you foooled meee hahaha
Similar to what is called the Simese twins trick
wow😮😮😮😮😮😮
In the performance you make the move with the top card off camera. Makes it slightly easier to get away with than irl.
34th like. Yessir🦋💛
That was tricky camera work. The dirty work was done out of the frame in the presentation.
What a great trick! Thanks for sharing and explaining, Great performance.
I’m glad you liked it, thanks!
I’m following along w the tutorial and I pulled a random card and it was 9 of spades

It’s so cool you do these videos!!!!!!!awesome 👏
Great trick but your break when u 'loose' the card is dead obvious
Who did it with a 52 card before understanding 😅
