      Cut out the piece you want and dip in water. After about 15 seconds it should slide off. Slide on to the model and allow to dry. There are some decal solutions also that will help it to conform to the shape better.

    • @MDScaleModels

      No you have to glue this together. An 11 yo should be able to put this together with some glue and a bottle or two of paint.

    This looks really good. Thank you for taking the time to make the video, edit it, and share it! I have a question don't you typically want to paint all the base parts before attaching details? Also the tracks are steel with rubber pads from what I understand, would you want to paint the detail on the tracks to differentiate the metal parts from the rubber parts?

    • @MDScaleModels
      @MDScaleModels  ปีที่แล้ว

      You certainly can paint the tracks. I probably should have and did this with later models.
      I put all pieces together that are the same color and then paint together. I also glue on parts that have only small details to be painted another color. That way I don’t have to glue on painted pieces as often.

    • @cd9366
      @cd9366 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MDScaleModels Ahh that makes sense about the small detail parts. Sounds like it's easier to paint them when they are fixed to the model already. I will need to try this now. I wasn't sure if these older style models with the vinyl/rubber tracks could be painted or were worth the effort, I might paint them up on a M46 Patton I got from Atlantis. Thanks for your reply and keep up the amazing modeling!
