@@924PHOTOGRAPHY Too late. I just purchased the Flashpoint Xplor600 on line because of your beautiful shots. I see the flashpoint transmitter has a hotshoe, I am going to install a Phottix Lasso transmiter there and I am going to experiment if I can fire the others canon flashes from there. Thanks.
Jose Guirola you should be able to get a trigger for the Flashpoint for 49. You’ll get the most benefit from using Flashpoint trigger. Now if you put that on top of that it will Fire the lights but I’m not sure if you’ll be able to control the power. Definitely let me know because im not sure on that
Hello, for me you are a photography genius, I am learning a lot from you, even with much inferior equipment. A big hug here from Brazil and thanks for the tips.
Man! I’m just getting into photography and I thought I was already addicted to my camera. But man you just inspired me to the max!! I’ve watched hundreds of TH-cam videos as I’m trying to prefect my craft. And you by far are the best. I would love to come on the road with you guys. Great group! Full of life!! This is what it about!! See ya round!! 🤜🏿
I love everything I have seen about this light. The only thing is no one ever speaks about the light settings and everyone says you can shoot HSS and the light just knows when you are going o shoot in it. But not one person has said that you have to have a camera that supports HSS in order to shoot HSS. I made that mistake but the SB700's thinking of the things I would be able to do outside in the day time. I was wrong as I didn't know at the time the D5000 Nikon doesn't support HSS.. Thanks great video...
art sutherland thank you! Yes I say it all the time that the d3xxx and the d5xxx series camera's will not support HSS. Most of the time it's at my workshops.
Thanks for the reply. Here is an answer I received from another photographer and his youtube channel. This is the answer that makes people buy and then go oh crap now I need a new camera.. lol Here is his reply - Hi, All cameras support HSS it's the trigger and flash that has to support HSS not the camera. HSS isn't a very common way of shooting as it's not very reliable. That's why we shoot in manual 99% of the time. I hope this helps!
I just picked up the streaklight & I have the xplor 600 but haven't used it yet so I popped on TH-cam and boom.. you runnin both of them. So Im gonna sit my ass down to watch n enjoy.
@@924PHOTOGRAPHY when shooting outside Im usually doing run n gun solo without an assistant(s). So while I have 2 AD200's and quite enjoy them, I really wanna run around with 1 light if I can. Because I can strap a stand + modifier to my bag.. and throw a streaklight in the bag. At most.. I can rock a 2 light set up if Im traveling light. And throw a second light stand onto my backpack. Inside the bag I could store 2 s2 brackets with a streaklight & ad200. The xplor600 would be more for when I can drive to a location and use my wagon to drag my stuff around. But runnin around nyc with no car.. I wanna be light.

for nikon you mention use spot metering, expose back ground to taste and underexposed two notches.... do you remain in spot metering once flash is added or go to matrix when shooting with flash..
Matimu Nehemiah absolutely! Depending on the time of day you’re using it you might need it much closer to your subject or only us one panel of diffusion.

excellent video. when you say "under expose 2 notches" are you meaning 2/3rds of a stop ? Also, what brand viewfinder are you using to inspect the screen in bright daylight? thanks...
