Great team and great work. Superb.
I just picked up the streaklight & I have the xplor 600 but haven't used it yet so I popped on TH-cam and boom.. you runnin both of them. So Im gonna sit my ass down to watch n enjoy.
Brian Michael haha heck yeah
@@924PHOTOGRAPHY when shooting outside Im usually doing run n gun solo without an assistant(s). So while I have 2 AD200's and quite enjoy them, I really wanna run around with 1 light if I can.
Because I can strap a stand + modifier to my bag.. and throw a streaklight in the bag. At most.. I can rock a 2 light set up if Im traveling light. And throw a second light stand onto my backpack.
Inside the bag I could store 2 s2 brackets with a streaklight & ad200.
The xplor600 would be more for when I can drive to a location and use my wagon to drag my stuff around.
But runnin around nyc with no car..
I wanna be light.
Brian Michael i completely understand that! Most times that’s all we can do for sure.
@@924PHOTOGRAPHY agreed

I love everything I have seen about this light. The only thing is no one ever speaks about the light settings and everyone says you can shoot HSS and the light just knows when you are going o shoot in it. But not one person has said that you have to have a camera that supports HSS in order to shoot HSS. I made that mistake but the SB700's thinking of the things I would be able to do outside in the day time. I was wrong as I didn't know at the time the D5000 Nikon doesn't support HSS.. Thanks great video...
art sutherland thank you! Yes I say it all the time that the d3xxx and the d5xxx series camera's will not support HSS. Most of the time it's at my workshops.
Thanks for the reply. Here is an answer I received from another photographer and his youtube channel. This is the answer that makes people buy and then go oh crap now I need a new camera.. lol Here is his reply - Hi, All cameras support HSS it's the trigger and flash that has to support HSS not the camera. HSS isn't a very common way of shooting as it's not very reliable. That's why we shoot in manual 99% of the time. I hope this helps!
Cool wagon, some very nice pics Sir.
Toby Hines thank you so very much.
that cart from academy is the best equipment you brought out there...ha ha

@@924PHOTOGRAPHY can you fire this flashpoint (canon model) and some canon flashes using a transmiter and some recievers like Phottix Lasso?
Jose Guirola to my knowledge no sir.
@@924PHOTOGRAPHY Too late. I just purchased the Flashpoint Xplor600 on line because of your beautiful shots. I see the flashpoint transmitter has a hotshoe, I am going to install a Phottix Lasso transmiter there and I am going to experiment if I can fire the others canon flashes from there. Thanks.
Jose Guirola you should be able to get a trigger for the Flashpoint for 49. You’ll get the most benefit from using Flashpoint trigger. Now if you put that on top of that it will Fire the lights but I’m not sure if you’ll be able to control the power. Definitely let me know because im not sure on that
Great video Bro! There are other HSS workshop vids out there but none come close in the entertainment department. Subscribed and look forward to seeing more vids!
miggymig83 haha! Thank you!
Enjoyed the video. Kung FU?? What!
charles lewis thanks bro! Yeah I used to take it when I was younger
Brandon Cunningham all be damned lol! I recognize that dude from junior high school! First time ever seeing someone from back in the days on youtube lol!
MICHAEL MAH PHOTOGRAPHY haha! I'll make sure he see this comment haha
Great stuff. I need one of those shirts. You should sell those .
Andre Heard thanks so much! Maybe one day 😁
How do u fit the profoto octabox onto the flashpoint 600? Great video, thanks!
Dieter Smeets if you go on B&H and search for bowens to profoto speedring it should pull up. Cost like 129 I think
Great video and great images. You are incredibly talented. That background get obliterated! And 200mm is insane. Were the slightly wider shots with the 105mm? Or did you just stand like 10 yards away. haha
Ben Possehl thanks so much! All the images were shot with the 200
nice
Hot video again, informative and inspiring my man!!
Raynor Clarke thanks so much. 📸💯
Great video but more dialogue, less music ;)
PhotoN thank you! It was on purpose for this video
More music less dialogue Great video
New girl no more hand on head no more bokeh. Take that! Cool vid!
Like the T-Shirt..
Edward Millership thank you
拍的真好👍
Awesome video Keydrin! Maybe I will hit you up for a workshop?!
Derek Palmer sounds great to me
Cool that you listed all of the equipment, but what I really want to know is where did you get that "Back Off, I'm a Photographer" T-shirt?
em.fotografik my sister made it for me 😂😂😂😂
That's awesome, May I ask if you experience any power loss when you're above the sync speed and turning on the "H" button?
mohamed abdel-hady nah not really as I’m used to it now i don’t even notice it
Hi I'm new to learning about octaboxes. Why are some more expensive than others? What are the advantages of having one like this? Thanks great video!
mayra samano to be honest it's the name and the build quality of the octaboxes. Most cheaper ones tear up.
awesome video! Question: you said your softbox was double diffused. What does that mean?
O RO thanks so much! It means it has the inner diffuser on and the outer diffuser on to soften the light more.
Very nice bts. Btw what monopod are u use for xplore 600?
Muhammad Wahyudi thank you! I put it all in the description
Great video man!!!!!!!1) did you have to change your setting at any point?2) did you have a gel on your hair light?3) approx how many feet are you away from the model while using the 200 mm?
Thanks so much! Yeah, a few times. I didn't have a gel on the hair light that was added in post. I'm not exact on the feet away, but I was l pretty far. On my person page on Facebook I've posted the BTS images and settings used on a few of these image. Here's were you can find that. facebook.com/924photography or facebook.com/Keylo01
for nikon you mention use spot metering, expose back ground to taste and underexposed two notches.... do you remain in spot metering once flash is added or go to matrix when shooting with flash..
excellent video. when you say "under expose 2 notches" are you meaning 2/3rds of a stop ? Also, what brand viewfinder are you using to inspect the screen in bright daylight? thanks...
Robert Frase it's like 1/4 or what looks good at that particular time. The product links are in the description (Hoodmans Loupe).
Sorry - I called myself looking through the description - not sure how I missed it. Thanks.
Robert Frase no worries at all! It was a lot in there haha
I love you style i also love you use nikon .keydrin you the man
Модель очаровательная!
Solid.... How does the 600 perform in bright sun??
Mike R I haven't had any problems yet. Works great
Wow good to know. I didn't think 600 would be enough power.
Mike R yes it has enough 😊
Hey Bro! Cool video.... Maybe do you know other modifier brand for this flashpoint heads?... you know.... cheaper.
Edward Rodriguez thank you! Glow para pop
SUBED
Katsu Quiet thank you
Can you tell me how you attached the Profoto 3 to the Xplor 600.Did you use a converter? Thanks
Peter McDonald on B&H I ordered the profoto to bowens mount speed ring
perfect..keep up the great work..
That lens my man, what the hell is it? lol it's huge!
Mr Pokiesmeister Nikon 200mm f2
