I'm guessing You generally stated a 'word' contains Bytes of Data, which is correct, but to be specific, the example you have 0,1,2,3 --> its a dword Data. Word = 2byte Data, dWord = 4byte Data/32bits

4 bit means 1 word , 8 bit means 1 byte or called to it 2 word, so data are in 4 word in matrix or 2 byte or 2 charctors

there is absolutely no need to introduce terms like "left to right" or "starting byte" as they make it more complicated than it really is! "left to right" and "right to left" are arbitrary phrases, and you can use them in any way you want.. as they don't carry any inherent meaning in this context. Likewise, "starting byte" has no inherent meaning in this context.
