As many people have said, this video is more helpful than the actual professor's teaching, subbed and will be watching more calculus content, Great stuff!
My first college Calculus class started 2 days ago. I really got frustarted during the class and was really desperated. After seeing your video, you explained really simple in a way that I can understand and motivated me to continue with my college calculus. Thanks a lot to you and may god bless you everyday with all the best things
@@JonnyMiata Yes I passed my Calculus class. The materials on TH-cam are amazing, and one thing to beat calculus is to Practice, Practice, and Practice.
I have been teaching myself over the summer and have been trying to learn limits and derivatives. These topics have been very confusing to me, but this video really helped me get a really good understanding of limits. Thank you SO SO much for your help!!
Bro what the heck you are more helpful than my Calculus professor and he is pretty helpful if I do say so myself. I'm definitely rooting for you man. The fact that you put so much effort despite the fact that you don't have many subs says o me that you really care about this. Keep It up!
thankyou so much i finally understood whats a limit .i am preparing for an entrance exam in india no teacher explained limit in this way and was confused then i saw this video thankyou.....
teachers deal with you as if you were born with all that knowledge it's just basics for them and it's so frustrating that you can find a very good mathematical teacher who will not bother to explain this to you EVEN if you asked thanks bro for enlightening me
I Know this probably means a lot to you, But this video is simply amazing bro, Keep it up, The explanation was Very clear and the illustrations were amazing. I would suggest you to do one extra thing, which is make the illustrations into a pdf and share it on your video description, I'm sure it would help many more people for sure. Good work bro, You deserve more subs fr.
A limit does not mean that you never achieve it. It means that you can come as close as you like, you can even achieve it, but you will never surpass this limit. You can look at it this way: you can get closer to a limit, and have a distance between your limit L and your approach x_n. This distance is also allowed to be 0. In Math it defined that this distance can be picked as small as you like, to be able to approach function where the limit is not part of the range.
i still have problem of understanding about Limit. So if the Limit is not exist just like the last example, does that mean i can't use limit to solve the equation or that the question is wrong?
Good work! you said that functions is discontinuous because of 0/0. Could I say that at 0/0 function is always undefined BUT limit is always defined at 0/0?? and one more thing is that the reason of a discontinuous function is because of 0/0 undefined situation ?
The limit can be 4 even if the function doesn’t have the value defined. The only condition is that the limit from the left must equal the limit from the right.
@@RohitChOfficial it actually is! We were taught this in the seventh grade. There are many ways to prove it, but i'll use this method: Lets assume x=3.99..... Then 10x=39.999..... 10x-x=39.99....-3.999.... 9x=36 Thus, x=4. So next time you see something that doesnt look right maybe actually research it instead of just dismissing it because it doesnt sit right with you.
Yo i was able to understand the video so i feel like this is an irrelevant comment but feedback is feedback id say pull the microphone away from your mouth a bit so that whenever you move your hands around we won’t be able to hear it, it doesn’t stop from being able to learn the concept it just would make it sound more pleasing
Unfortunately that does not have anything to do with an easy explanation, it involves concepts of límits that need a deeper understanding, so it's far from an easy explanation !
I'm currently taking calculus online right now and this has been the most helpful video that I've seen.

Limits are like the asymptotes?
i don’t think so since vertical asymptotes are not on the same y axis
im starting to get a grasp, thank you.
For dummies 😂
It seems I've come to the right place for the first time 🤣
If the limit is 4, do it include 4 or able to get 4 as value? Is it allowed?
The limit can be 4 even if the function doesn’t have the value defined. The only condition is that the limit from the left must equal the limit from the right.
@@chance_entertainment why is it the case that the left limit must equal the right limit?
That’s the definition for a limit to exist. If the two limits from each side are not equal we say the overall limit does not exist
great video, but i noticed you made a mistake at 5:31 because 3.9999999....(infinite nines) is actually equal to 4.
it's not buddy, go back to class/grade 4, then maybe it'll be
@@RohitChOfficial it actually is! We were taught this in the seventh grade. There are many ways to prove it, but i'll use this method:
