Federal Gun Ship vs Pirate Lord in a Federal Corvette.

I knew if I went to the nav beacon and waited a bit he would show up if not already there. They have a tendency to jump right on top of you and he did.
Never had a shot at a Corvette so I was looking forward to this but...
