- More than 5,000 nail technicians across the UK are collectively raising their prices, in what is being labelled "National Nail Price Increase Day".
The company behind the movement said it's taking action after calculating that its members are only making around £7 an hour - far below the minimum wage.

Why are the comments off for the stabbing?
Because the usual suspects are a protected group by the lamestream media.
They don’t want anyone talking about it. Cowards
Sky doesn't mind British citizens commenting about nail salons. Brave of them.
Exactly, they don’t want us all commenting about Bradford coz they don’t want us thinking those people do those things so the liberals can just bring up Sarah Everard again coz he was white
No comments turned off on this one eh??
My first thought
Exactly what I thought
Some people get their nails done but complain about bills and food. Smh
lol..."technicians"
I used to go for the talk therapy, and someone to literally hold my hand. The pretty nails were a bonus.
Hang on...... Nope don't give a f-ck👻👻
Comments turned off for the incident in Bradford? Hmmm let me guess why… It’s no wonder nobody watches Sky News any more.
They always do when it involves those kind of people, I’m surprised they even showed his photo
I was a nail tech in the 80s. I charged at least the same prices they do now.
Days before every row of shops had a nail bar, common as Charity Businesses now 😂
Why did sky turn the comments off about what happened in Bradford? Absolute cowards knowing what everyone thinks but don’t want us to speak up
should turn on comments for previous video
Where does this end?
and what does this have to do with the public nothing to do with the government ffs
Supply and demand there is to many of them so it’s cheap
Comments censored that state the obvious news
More truth in the comments section that what sky broadcast
£25 goes towards toles i right
Did he ‘enter a river’………
Nail 'technician' eh?
Next we'll be having bin technicians & road sweeping 'technicians.
Honestly, no one should be called a technician whose employ requires absolutely no training..
A bespoke service she said
Off the peg aint a thing on a personal service
Waste of time and bad for the environment
What was wrong with ladies with real nails hey, can't stand all this £akeness and absolutely more unneeded waste and all the Chemicals
Lmao
Technicians ? Wth ? xDDD Yeah Nope.
Get a job on a build site and dont make me laugh.
Not with the Vietnamese nail shops they earn £800 a week but only declare probably £200 a week and claim extra benefits 🤣
Cash only nail bars & turkish barbours= we do not pay tax in Britain
The cash only salons are the best.
Saves mentioning excess Daeths i guess

Go and get a real job
Well, I guess your tip is relying on your ability to do your job
