Thank goodness for what you do ♥️🥰 thank you
Love the positive vibes and am sorry for the negative comments. I love sites with zero tolerance for negativity. Shine on.
Love that big wave, Adam! Very well-said about no need nor benefit of criticism and/or negativity in our amazing sewing community! You are so right - we are human, we are not professionals, and all we’re wanting to do is share our sewing/creating journeys, warts and all! 😂 Thank you so much for addressing it and speaking up for us! 💗
🥰🥰 life need not be taken too seriously, its takes the fun and mischief out of things hehe have a great weekend Andra x
@@AdamSews 💗💗💗
Well said, it costs nothing to be kind. Most of us are grateful for the content that you lovely vloggers put out for us every week xx
💗💗💗
Well said! It takes no effort to be kind in my eyes and I am going to wave at the camera as much as I like 😂
As you know I am super excited for your lovely caddie to have its forever home with me 🐰🐢🩷
I’ll wave back! 👋 thanks for watching, can’t wait for you to get it ☺️
Oh Adam, I am so grateful to you for speaking up for us all ❤. Such wise words, you are awesome.
As for your sewing this week, those T shirts are fab and the style really suits you. That pink Caddy 💓, your customer is going to adore that. You've had such a good sewing week ❤️👏🏼
💗💗💗
Such a busy week lol but I’ve enjoyed every single make, I’ve surprisingly taken me time and slowed right down with each make so enjoy the process, normally it’s like oh it’s only a T-shirt for me, it’s totally different to when it’s for someone else ☺️
Wonderful video and msg @adam. Love your shirts and caddys!
Hi Adam, I love all your makes and fabrics. Michelle’s caddy is gorgeous. I thought you put negativity in its proper place. If we could all be kind to one another the world would be a better place. ❤❤
Great notebook cover!
Thank you for your wonderful You Tube channel. Sending Light and Love to you and all your subscribers. ❤🙏❤
Thankyou so much, have a fantastic weekend 😍
Love all your makes. Those oversized Tees are fab. Ooo love that hoodie. Love all your Tula quilting projects. You are so clever 🤩
Thankyou Thankyou, it’s a super comfy hoodie, I do love Tula hehe
Yes Adam!! Thank you for supporting our lovely sewing community, it certainly wasn’t a constructive post and ended up a personality bashing comment fest!! I deleted the post from our Facebook group and explained why!
Loving Michelle’s caddy and the T-shirts/hoody you’ve made xx
🥰
Kindness Matters
Thank you, and stay well!

Well said Adam!!! 👏🏻 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
A notebook cover is something I’d definitely like to try!!!
They are such a lovely thing to add to a notebook to make them more tactile ☺️
Thank you Adam. I’m a lone sewist, in that non of my mates sew! I rely on the world of sewing bloggers to give me ideas and knowledge. I do hope people don’t give up doing videos due to the awful few. I enjoy my virtual sewing community so much. Thank you for all you efforts, really appreciated! Xx
I don’t think any will, well at least I hope they don’t, a few have been shaken up this week a bit because of what had been going on, we have all rallied together and given each other support to not let it bother any of us ☺️
Thank you Adam always the sunshine in my day❤
Thankyou ☺️☺️
Well said! 🥰👍Everyone needs kindness more than ever today.
☺️☺️
Spot on Adam, kindness is free to give away every day
It sure is! Have a great weekend ☺️
Oh that caddy is adorable- nice job❤❤
Thankyou ☺️☺️
Hi Adam! I totally agree with you regarding negativity! You have been a busy bee! I like the shirt!❤
Hey Zelda, busy been indeed hehe! I feel like I’ve accomplished a lot this week haha
Well said positivity is essential for a happy life! ❤
It is ☺️☺️
Oh Adam, you brighten my week. I don't care where you look or what you are pointing at it is the vitality you bring.💜🪻💜
Thankyou so so much, have a fantastic weekend ☺️
Oh, Adam! You do bring us joy! 🥰
Yay! 🥳 have a great weekend
Such a lively video. I’m so happy for you.
Thankyou ☺️
Well said Adam. There is enough negativity in life atm, I watch vlogs to put a ray of sunshine in my life 😊
Have a fabulous weekend 😍
Fabulous ❤
I love that you bring us into your life and show us a snippet of what you are creating and accomplishing with making items that bring you joy! Thank you Adam.
Thankyou, and thanks so much for watching, have a great weekend ☺️
Loved it when you said, “One thing that is being good about human is that we can be kind to one another.” Many years ago, I decided to take the time to recognize when someone has done something well, kind, helpful … instead of throwing complaints, criticisms and gripes into the air. There’s already enough of that as we all know. Sprinkling kindness in daily life is easy and, as you say, free. Whether it be friends, family or the stranger who did an excellent job helping you navigate a problem in a store, on the phone, etc. It takes two minutes to ask for a supervisor to compliment an employee on a job well done and it lifts the spirits of the supervisor, the employee and yourself to have made some random people that you will never meet in person, happy. Recognizing good has become an intentional action and it’s a much better vibe than complaining. On that note, you are a positive light on TH-cam and I’m sure in your personal life as well. Kind, giving and an incredible creator of all things fabric.
Thankyou so much! I completely agree, my husband is a supervisor and he makes a point of complimenting good work and when employees go that extra mile, it’s much more productive than moaning about what people aren’t doing ☺️
I loved the statement about negativity. On another sewing site I follow, someone posted their creation. They were a new sewist and were devastated by criticism they received. We all need to be supportive of one another. Loved the patterns for menswear you showed-will be getting some of these for Richard. Love the caddie and all you share!
This is the thing, people don’t understand how damaging criticism can be towards some people, it can shatter someone’s confidence. Everyone is continually learning and we all appreciate that. They are fabby patterns and really reasonably priced, look forward to hearing if some get made up ☺️
Well said, kindness cost nothing 🥰
🥰
💗💗💗
How could anyone be nasty to you? You’re so adorable. 😂 I just wish you lived near me so I could come rummage in your sewing room hahahahahh
Haha you should see how I get when people go through my stash 🤣🤣 it was more of a collective be kind to everyone with a negative post on another account that encouraged negative behaviour about the whole vlogger community 🤦♂️☺️
@@AdamSews well I love your vlogs man!
Still would love to rummage though hahaha😂😂😂😂
Lovely catch up
And thank you for promoting positivity xxx
😘😘
I don’t want you all to be perfect! I want you all to be human and relatable! It gives me confidence, makes me think, yeah I can have a go at that. Love your channel Adam. Keep doing what you are doing in my eyes and same with all the other TH-camrs too!
Thankyou so much! Exactly what I look for in the TH-camrs I love too, otherwise it’s too clinical, even Lori Holt and Jenny Doan make mistakes when filming and they have enormous YT channels. It makes people relatable and you feel at ease, Thankyou ☺️
Thank you, Bessy! We appreciate you so much! 💗
Thank you Adam !!!
Of course Michelle needed the caddy made in the pink bunnies! Love it!
Hehe it has her all over it 🥰🥰🥰
Oh those camera police, why does it really matter to them so much 🙄 Karen Sews Slowly had the same comments. Keep being you ❤
🥰 we all do our best, but we are all human, have a great weekend 😍
💗💗💗
Well said Adam. I don’t under people who make negative and hurtful comments. They’re just mood hoovers. 😞
Thank you for soreDing and supporting kindness! Im not entertaining any negativity either!!! You have cranked out some nice t shirts this week. I have to tell you that I get so many compliments on my Besties wristlet you gave me. Every time I pop that out of my purse, someone comments on it. I LOVE it so much. Is Darren still sewing or is he too busy cuddling puppy dogs? We will get him on youtube eventually! Hugs to all!!❤❤❤
I'll get him showing off his work at some point, we are working on the fabrics hes gonna use for his first pattern followed quilt he's gonna do :D
Adam - any TH-camr I watch I watch for several reasons such as they make learning fun and they show me how to do it. They explain things well, they inspire me to at least try to make similar items and no be down if they don’t turn out quite the same. If you were a school teacher you would be one of the ones who inspire the class.
Oh bless you that’s lovely, Thankyou, I watch TH-camrs for the same reason, I like seeing little imperfections or hiccups, they are a fun and they make me chuckle
Oh bless you that’s lovely, Thankyou, I watch TH-camrs for the same reason, I like seeing little imperfections or hiccups, they are a fun and they make me chuckle
Well said. I love Adam’s channel for the same reason.
Love your channel Adam thoroughly enjoy the channel and the effort that you put in. Even angels can’t always please some people. Have an awesome day ❤
Thankyou, have a fabulous weekend ☺️
Hi Adam! Well said. I like the oversized tees.
Thankyou, have a great weekend ☺️
Love the t-shirts!
Hi, Adam. Your creations are spectacular! The striped t-shirts look great. Getting ET down the middle -- GENIUS! This is a lovely community. Here's to more kindness every day.
Thankyou, I’m so pleased I braved it and cut into the ET fabric hehe
Great comment Adam about negative comments- if they are not constructive I remove them too! As creators we do not have to take that BS and anyone who writes negative comments are really just get unhappy people or just plain crazy!
Completely agree, most of the time it’s not even about that thing or something someone’s done,it’ll be a way of venting about totally different things. Thanks for watching Steven ☺️
You’re such a light! ❤
Thanks Jon! You too! Such an inspiration to the quilting world
Well said Adam 😘💕
😍
Love the new tops! That caddy is just stunning. I just love all the details you think about when selecting fabric, zips, hardware, etc. So, so thoughtful. I hope you’re having a fantastic weekend! Xx 💞
Thanks Izzy, I love matching different things up, it’s part of the fun of making! Have a great weekend too xx
Adam you have been busy with your fabulous tee’s. Do you tumble dry all your fabrics so they don’t shrink when you have made them into garments. I’m personally grateful for all the vlogs that I watch kindness’s cost nothing. 😊
Hi Carol, I do indeed, 30dgree wash, and then a hot tumble, it then allows for pre shrinkage, obviously some fabrics I am more careful with, but that way I know it’ll work for me in my normal wash routine, I don’t have time for wardrobes that need lots of specialist care, steals sewing time hehe 😜
Another fabulous vlog Adam please never stop being you as you brighten up my day 🥰
Michelle is going to love her caddy, it’s fabulous ☺️
See you next Friday 👋🏻☺️
Thanks Lynne, have a fab weekend ☺️
@@AdamSews thank you 🥰 you too 🤗
Love Michelle's bunny caddy - so sweet! Kindness costs very little and rewards us all. Thanks for sharing and for inspiring us in creativity and in thoughtfulness. ❤
Thankyou, that’s a fantastic way of putting it! Have a glorious weekend ☺️
I love all your makes and videos. You are so right. Kindness costs nothing an can bring much joy! Please keep vloging!
Will do, have a fab weekend and thanks for watching ☺️
Nicely said Adam! Some people just love to suck joy out of things don’t they. You have to ask yourself, what goes on in their life that makes them so miserable that the only way they feel better is to have pop at others. Good manners and kindness cost nothing and yet are such a valued commodity these days!
They are such a valued commodity indeed! Have a fabulous weekend 😍
Love your uplifting attitude and message!!!
Thankyou so much, have a great weekend ☺️
Hi Adam! I enjoy your channel immensely. The T-shirts you made are very nice. Could you pretty please do a tutorial with a pattern to make one of those? I don't understand patterns and I think you would be very good at explaining how to make one of those shirts. Again, looking forward to enjoying your channel in the upcoming months and I wish you continued success! 😎
I will do a live vlog the next time I make one up to show how I do it ☺️
@@AdamSews Awesome Adam! I can't wait for that! YAY!
Thanks for the positive attitude! Bravo Adam! 🎉❤
☺️☺️
The neckline on the high-neck hoodie is very interesting - looks like a fun make! The amount of things you get completed in a week is just mind-blowing. I LOVE the caddy you made for Michelle - beautiful colors.
It’s a belter, I’m sorry to see it leave, but then I’m like that with most of them haha could you imagine the problems I’d have if I never let them go haha I’d be swamped. It’s a fun make, a lot easier too than I thought it would be ☺️ hope you are well lovely 🥰
Great video as always. I recommended that T-shirt pattern to my son as he wants to learn. ❤
Oh fab, it’s a great pattern, also drafted true to size which is difficult to find in men’s patterns I tend to find ☺️
Well said.
🥰 have a great weekend
💗💗💗
Well said. I couldn’t agree more. Ive had breast cancer twice. It’s taught me that life is short, amazing and beautiful. I love your channel and the other TH-camrs channels. Thank you for sharing! Your friend always Diane ❤
Thankyou Diane, so sorry you’ve had to go through that twice! Well done for fighting through and forever thankful you beat it
@@AdamSews 😘
We haven't seen the negative list. We are definitely amateurs, but we are our authentic selves and yes I struggle to look at the camera. As much as we want views and to grow our channel we would rather that people who don't like us, our content or what we do just not bother watching. Feeling blessed so far because in the 2 weeks we have been vlogging we have received nothing but welcoming positivity. Well said Adam 👏🤩
Couldn’t agree more, being authentic is the best way to be, warts and all, we are all human and not robots, I mean we can edit the stuff that makes no sense but no point scripting things, have a fab weekend ☺️
@@AdamSews exactly. Thank you, you too 🤩
Happy New Year❤❤❤
Happy new year, best wishes for 2024!
Oh Adam - how exciting that your pattern arrived safely. Hope you got all three envelopes that make up that pattern! I didn’t even notice that the back is made up of so many pieces - how quirky and VOGUE, tee hee. Absolutely love the caddy for Michelle too.
Thanks so much Loriann, such a awesome pattern, gonna order some nice quality denim ☺️
Adam...You certainly have reached your goal of creating an uplifting and creative vlog. Just love it and all your creations. Thank you!
Thankyou ☺️ happy weekend
I love your videos. Love that you share your sewing projects. Love that you are a fellow Tula fan! Love that you share parts of your life. You are wonderful!
Thankyou so much, sharing my Tula makes me accountable haha ☺️
Stand for positivity... we stand with you.
☺️☺️
Thanks for sharing the patterns, I’m always on the hunt for tee shirt and sweat shirt patterns for my husband. I’ll be curious to see how the trousers turn out. I’m in the market for a new serger so I was very interested to see yours. I bought a new Juki sewing machine last January and I’ve throughly enjoyed it. I had already decided on a Juki serger , I’m just trying to decide on the model now.
Hi Jan, if you are only using for personal use, I would definately reccomends the MO1000 it’s a fab machine, air threaded and very sturdy, will sew most weights of fabric too ☺️
Adam, I love the pink caddy bag set you made, beautiful. Have a good week!
Thanks Renee, have a fab weekend
The world’s issues could be solved by kindness!
Love your shirts and the color blocked sweatshirt! I ordered the Closet Case Mile End pattern today along with 2 cuts of sparkle sweatshirt fleece from SewEssentials this morning. Patterns with special details really call my name. Have a great week! 😘
They could Lynn! We can do our best and that’s what counts. I too love a pattern with a special or unusual construction too! Makes for a more fun sew ☺️
Those blocks are very bold! Love everything you create! You’ve been a busy bee!
Thankyou, they are going to go into my enormous frankenquilt I’m working on ☺️
Love your jumpers too!
Your ET t-shirt is SEW awesome! It brought a hue grin to my face. Maybe you will model it sometime. 🥰 Bernadette from -47C in Alberta, Canada
I will no doubt have it on in a vlog sometime soon, I’m on the hunt know for more ET fabrics hehe ☺️
I agree and appreciate all you wonderful people who give us ideas and inspiration thank you love the caddy so pretty😊😊
Thanks Robyn, thanks for always supporting all of us, it’s individuals like yourself that make us all want to keep producing vlogs sharing our ideas and makes ☺️
Gutted to be missing your sewcial next week 😢 Michelle's caddy is gorgeous ❤

Great tops!!!❤
Thankyou ☺️
@Adamsews, I completely agree, I can't be doing with negativity and a lack of basic kindness. I love love love that E.T fabric! xxx
💯 it’s been lingering in my stash for ages as I was scared to cut it, but it will be seen a lot more often now being worn and enjoyed! Looking forward to seeing you next weekend ☺️
@@AdamSews me too! It's been far too long. Can't wait! It will be interesting to see whether I actually get any sewing done this time! 🤣🤣
Great t-shirts.
Agreed; kindness costs nothing. We have no time or need for negativity. I know just how delighted Michelle is with her caddy. Just a quick question, when you quilt your caddy fabrics, do you quilt small pieces, or the entire yardage and then cut them and do you use a domestic machine to quilt? Or do you work completely differently? I've made a few for myself and for gifts. I quilt the yardage after cutting the non-quilted pieces, but I'm not sure that's the best way to do it. I do have a sit-down quilting machine, though.
Hi Bren. I quilt all the pieces individually, that way it allows me to select more fabrics for specific pockets and panels etc. I use an industrial Juki now for all my bagmaking, it makes life so much easier ☺️
Thanks for your very quick response. I have been considering the purchase of an industrial, but I'm running out of space in my sewing room!
Lovely T-shirts Adam, especially like ET 😁 very nice sweatshirt too! Looking forward to receiving my Running with Scissors and Take a Stand set .
It will go out first thing Monday morning next day delivery 🚚,Thankyou so much, have a great weekend
Thank you, you too.
Your T-shirts look fabulous. I wish I could sew clothes but it’s beyond me, I have little enough sewing time so I’ll just stick to quilting.
Ahh if you can quilt you can sew garments, T-shirts are the easiest to start with, you can also use the woven tshirt patterns to make them with quilting cotton. If you have the discipline to quilt you can definately garment sew ☺️
Great video Adam 😊 I just want to pop my 2 pence worth on the criticism issue. If someone doesn't like something that is shown, then turn over and find something you do like 🤔 there is plenty of choice, so im sure that won't be hard. Life is too short and hard for negativity, and no one needs or appreciates it, so save it for those who deserve it, ... poiticians come to mind 😂😂😂 even then be constructive and not personal 😊
Couldn’t agree more, if I watch something that doesn’t entertain me or interest me, I still appreciate the effort that’s gone into creating it, but I will just move on, I don’t feel the need to leave a negative comment for any reason, it doesn’t help anyone ☺️
Have just started following you Adam on Deb from sewing seams with Deb recommendation. I have not yet gone through all your videos. Do you have a shirt pattern you would recommend for me to make for my husband . Thinking long sleeve, collar shirt I’d like to try a baby cord fabric
Keep up your inspiration
I am a follower from Tasmania- the little island at bottom of Australia mainland . 😊
Oh Hi and Welcome Michelle, hope all is well, I love the wardrobe by me overshirt for a shirt in heavier fabrics like baby cord, chambray and flannel. It’s a really well written pattern too! Thanks for stopping by 😁
I recently started following you and love what you are doing. Some of the patterns you shared last week (I think it was) has meant my bank balance has taken a hit 😂 I have made one of the free by annie bags and learnt a few lessons but now going to try a different one with mesh and see how I get on. Thank you for sharing all these ideas
Ah fantastic! If you watch the video where Annie reccomends the different projects from her free patterns, they gradually teach you all the skills to make the bigger patterns ☺️
That is what appealed to me as it jogs the memory from school and also shows you a different way as things have moved on since then.
Loving whaylt you and other you tubers are producing to encourage newbies like me.
Hi Adam, I've just recently started watching your channel after hearing about you from Stacey J. I watched your video talking about the things you like about your Bernina and was really impressed with the buttonhole feature. I have a very basic Bernina and while it does great buttonholes on shirts and lightweight garments, it is useless for doing buttonholes on thick coats and on the waistband of jeans. It gets hung up on the thick seams and just stitches over and over in one place. Just wondering if you have used yours to make buttonholes on coats or jeans waistbands?
I have used mine on at least three pairs of Jean waistbands as I make most of my own jeans, occasionally I have to very gently help the fabric move in the forward and reverse motion as it does the buttonhole, but not often. Hope that helps and welcome over here ☺️☺️
xXX👍👍👍
Well said. If people don’t like a particular you tuber don’t watch it. Find something you prefer. I love the sewing content but obviously prefer some content to others. We all have our preferences but that doesn’t give you the right to be unkind.
Couldn’t agree more and it doesn’t have any positive bearing on anyone, it can just upset people. All of us in life cannot please everyone, it’s just the way things are, being kind and moving on without leaving a derogatory comment is then benefitting all parties concerned. Have a fab weekend and thanks for stopping by ☺️😉
