    SUGGESTED RICE WATER MEASUREMENTS:
    1. 1 cup of rice
    2. Pour rice in a bowl of tap water to get the first layer off the rice.
    3. Strain
    4. Add 4-5 cups of spring or distilled water
    5. Rub the rice between your hands for five minutes (this is key so don't sleep on this process)
    6. Pour the liquid from the rice in a pot
    7. Add your citrus fruit peel of choice (grapefruit, lime, or tangerine)
    8. Let boil on medium heat for 10 minutes (keep your eyes on it or use a timer... sis).
    9. Let cool for 10 minutes. Add essential oils
    10. Place water and citrus peel in mason jar
    11. Shake every few days
    12. Let ferment for at least 1 week before using.
    Good luck sis!

I know people say that your hair is always growing, but from 2012 until 2019, I did not see any growth. I wore braids, then switched to protective wigs, heat only once a year. Moisturized. I truly feel that your oil woke my follicles back up and reminded them of what they were supposed to be doing. I'm still wearing wigs, and literally the only thing I changed was flat twist to individual braids and your oil. Now a year later, I'm coming back to what got me back in the game. Thank you

tbro the last time I measured my results were when I got some box braids, they were a bit tight, I applied my mixture to my scalp and within a day or two they were no longer tight and had grown a bit. I kept using it in my scalp alone for 3 weeks and my hair had grown so much I had to take my braids out. So for my protective styles to last, I don’t use it until it’s my last two weeks 😊😊

    First must credit SheRea DelSol:
Although not the original she added honey, castor oil, Bhringraj, msm and vitamin c.Then the deep conditioner I put on a plastic cap and only left it on for 20 mins.

All of your videos have great content! I must say if your hair looks like this from all of your methods you have done well. I have taken tips from many of your content, but I just find it challenging to keep up with it all. I’m a homeschool mom ,health coach and trainer, and just can’t find the time to do all that you are doing with your hair. I have to take off work just to get the mixes together 🤦🏽‍♀️. I guess what I’m trying to say is that trying to grow and maintain hair is a lot of work that has to fit a certain lifestyle. I’m second guessing if I want length now😬🤔I think I’m gonna go for healthy hair for now! Keep up the good work.

I started my rice water challenge in August. I apply it every other day with garlic oil on my scalp and hair a plastic cap and massage my scalp for at least 10 minutes or more. Rinse it out and then apply my leave in. My hair has grown a little over 2 inches. Also this is the time of year to find pomelo.

As someone said, do be careful using rice water. Listen to your hair always. If it starts acting funny, stop but if you experience no bad reactions and you are getting inches, keep going if you please.
I just wanted people to know that rice water isn’t bad for everyone. I have low porosity and used rice water for 1.5 and my hair is still doing very well. Didn’t grow crazy long but I barely shed hair. Everyone different and I hope y’all try it for as long as you can before dismissing it.

    • @sharnab3032

@@sharnab3032 yes ma’am started early 2019 and still use it now, so I guess longer than 1.5 yrs but now it’s like I use it everyday or I forget a week and then go back to it unlike before I had my son(this past August) i was using it at least every other day.
      Hope this makes sense.

Yes! How do you use yours? I just attempted to infuse with an oil. I find the bamboo tricky for 4c hair because it doesn't dissolve right away and im afraid to use it directly on my hair. I'm waiting to see what happens with the oil

I have heard that a violet toned shampoo is great for brightening it and avoiding a yellow tinge, but honestly have not tried any that I can recommend. I would be careful to avoid herbs such as henna to avoid copper coloured strands if that is not your thing. ACV rinses are great for getting hair super shiny as is a cold rinse x
