    I want to thank you sincerely for what you shared. I am a long way from you just doing a kitchen, and this is very beneficial to me. I wish they would have paid you to do a deeper coarse polish at the start for this church... but then again perhaps it is better to not take off too much material so the floor will last the longest possible. It's fantastic either way. The city hall in my city has marble stairs, and they are getting worn. As i walk up those steps, I think of how many millions of footsteps people have laid on those steps in order to get a marraige license, pay tax, register a car, and more. So even though you can see some wear left by the prior floor contractor, I like that the floors are talking and telling their story to us!

    Im new working as a janitor in an ancient school turned into county administration building and the terrazzo is Hit 😢...they've been waxed ages ago and barely kept up...the front foyer is bare and pitted where the most traffick flow is at, salt stains and fog all over...even the stairs are terrazzo and are in need of some special care...only I don't have have those floor supplies offered to me...that's for maintenance 😕 what a lovely job on the church, I would love to see my place shine like that again!

    That three driver scrubber is cool, I’ve never seen one like that before. I can only imagine what something like that would cost.

    Floor looks pretty good actually for 70s years. I've heard it say that peoples shoes act like a natural polisher over time, so the floor keeps a decent look.
    The only reason it looks dim or dusty, whatever you may call it, is because it was already done with 100 grit.

    Hi! How would you remove or what would you do with old battery stains in your terrazzo floor?

    • @pinnaclestonerestoration
      @pinnaclestonerestoration  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It depends how deep it penetrated. Cement terrazzo is very porous material and usually stains will go deep into it. Of grinding process doesn't remove it Is would tru poultice but the chances will be too low.

      Thank you.
      This floor was sealed with micro topping burnishable sealer. We recommend re sealing based on foot traffic and wear and tear.

    great work guys. How do you like the Klindex edge machine? Im in need of a new edge grinder for grinding/polishing concrete and terrazzo.
    Also have you tried the Klindex/Hypergrinder Lithium Guard WP2? Best polish guard Ive used so far for both concrete and terrazzo.
    Does not let any water or oil penetrate like traditional guard products.

      I have the waterfire and extrema. Easy to use and quality. I also have the lithium material used on terrazzo.

    You supposed Star 30 metal grit..in 70 years old Terrazzo..I can see te lines..that indicate your guys don Grinder correct
    The floor.. vitrification ir very nice..but under you can see east to west lines

      You obviously didn't watch this video or especially listened to it.
      It was grind down by other company and we jumped to it after 100 grit.
      That's one thing. Another thing is that the terrazzo was grind down with 30 grit metal bond using 1500 LB Terco machinery. The discoloration pattern you see on terrazzo caused by pew chair system that was on it for many years. I suggest to watch and listen more carefully before making your statements.
