Porqué critican el inglés de Ignazio? Es una falta de respeto! Yo creo que ya es mucha gracia de parte de ellos aprender
dos idiomas al mismo tiempo el español también, si tanto los queremos es porque apreciamos todo lo que hacen!

I am dying how Ignazio is sitting there mocking Gianluca because she said his name wrong!Jajaja!They have such a great sense of humor that they know most people will butcher their names the way they butcher English!So wonderful that they let it go.:P

I'm so annoyed with this interviewer. Did she really think that Ignazio was saying Gianluca's name for practice? How insulting that she did not correct herself after the second time she mispronounced Gian's name.

Ignazio is the one that least practices English, qnd he sounds so funny. It reminds me of me when I was learning the language.
He just learned portuguese recently because of his relationship with a brazilian girl. He also speaks Spanish perfectly like Gian & Piero as well.

It's hard to shake off like for me and I NEVER say that at home only when I'm with others, strange indeed uh? Maybe it's stress or insecurity and you have absolutely no control over it at all but he is def a brilliant young man and one of the best opera & pop singers in the world and he's only 26. Amazing!

Thanks for the edit, Daniela LaFata! I truly missed not being able to be there this year, in studio with the guys and with fellow fans and friends who were there that evening. (I do wish that the interviewers would work on their pronunciation of the Italian and Spanish words, but, even more so, I wish they would at least learn to pronounce the guys' names correctly. Last year, when they were at Detroit PBS promoting "Live from Pompeii," the interviewer pronounced Gianluca's name "Gee-Ann-Luca"; this time, the interviewer pronounced it "GianlucO"!!! I'm sure she must have at least *read* his name somewhere in preparation for this interview, for heavens sake! And, someone please, please help these interviewers with the correct pronunciation of Ignazio's name: E-nyat-sio!)

And the hosts Could certainly make more of an effort to learn how to pronounce a simple name! Italian is NOt that difficult, not really.... Parts of English( now THERE is a messed up language!) Does come from the Latin, after all... and one does not need be "educated" to make the attempt!

It takes time to learn a foreign language plus studying opera, touring, improving in all areas of their lives, traveling all around the world, rehearsals, interviews, radio & TV presentations & very little sleep at times, should I go on?
