I love the window in the Lortone saws, if and went I make a saw upgrade, I really want to add a window to a saw. Those thundereggs came out looking fantastic.
I do like the window and it usually stays clean for around 20-25 cuts but doing a bunch of thundereggs sure dirty's up everything really fast. Yeah, am happy with those more than the big ones I got but will post video of them all polished up once I get em done. Hope you and family are doing well in your new digs sir.
The clamp is sold on Ebay and I drilled some extra holes in it to run the threaded stock and wing nuts. I had found that really hard material would cause the spring loaded hinge to lift and the stone would ride up on the blade. The holes and threaded stock allows me to "lock" the spring loaded hinge in place providing a really stable cutting platform for round and misshaped objects. Anyway I have been really happy with the thundereggs outta those beds. Thx for the watch and comment. Have a great week!
I have some steak, does that count? Was walking down a river when I spotted what looked like a 2-3 inch thick slab of nicely fat marbled steak just sitting on top of another rock in the middle of the river. Called over a buddy and we were both flabbergasted trying to figure out what was going on where someone would dump a big hunk of steak on a rock...maybe it was bear bait? So we looked around and called out but no one answered so I picked it up and realized it was stone that perfectly mimicked a marbled slab of steak. Someone at the club has slabs that look like bacon they used in a display case at one of the club shows using a breakfast theme. Hope you are doing well!
@@BackcountrywithShaughn Oh man that's perfect! LOL! ⚡🥚🥓 I'm doing all right. Hurt my back, so been pretty slow this summer. Hope you're all good! Cheers!
@@thirstfast1025 So very sorry to hear about your back issue sir, that is definitely a challenge. Hope you are on the mend or working towards it so you can get back out into the world on adventures! Am still upright and breathing over here so that's super good! Thx for asking.

@@BackcountrywithShaughn you too,
Great colours, love the water-line in the first one. Now if we could just find the dang thunder bacon, we'd have a delicious thunder breakfast....
