I know they are good at their instruments but they could have never been taught that unique style and the way they come up with these wierd and wonderful lyrics 😂, I really really need that new album, wonder have they released it yet
This song is amazing. Love these guys and Jian. I just saw the keyboard - they've put black tape over part of the name leaving AHA on the back. Love it.
I seriously had to pause it and take the first 10 seconds in. Wow. His voice is perfect, and so is the instrumentation. I've never heard a live version sound so much like the recording.
@SazzieChan Never you say? Brandon Fowers is amazing singer live as well. I like guys like Ezra and Brandon because they tend to stay away from audio enhancements as much as possible, so people can hear their actual voice.
@iHazCavities I meant the entire thing though, not just Ezra. XD The keys and the drum, and when the guitar and bass comes in. It's perfection. I love Brandon Flowers' voice :D Such an awesome name too XDD
Vampire Weekend, Phoenix, and Florence +The Machine are the best indie groups in the entire Globe! :D --Maybe its because they actually are original and have talent. (:
they play soo goood with soo few instrumentsss!!!!! I LOVE THIS BAND SO FUCKIN MUCH!!!!!! I just got a blue bleedin madras shirt-jacket like Ezra's OH im so exciteeed!!! just sayin :)
there are so many members of successful bands who would've been labelled as weird band geeks and picked on in high school before they became famous. imagine how shite the bullies would feel now.
BestMUSEicEver hey check out lord Huron they are amazing live and they use al types of things to create amazing sounds. A good indie band I feel as equal as vampire weekend live. I started with we went wild by lord Huron. Check them out!
One of the few great bands of our generation.
I love how he manages to sound exactly the same as in the albumsss ! :)
I’m irish and this is how i learned about what horchata is, I often make it now
What an equilibrium.
Time will never make this one fade away. 4 talents melted together playing with the borders of perfection.
Being that they're all ivy league students, I guess it isn't coincidence that all of their work sounds sort of "scholarly".
I would have never noticed it, except for Step.
I know they are good at their instruments but they could have never been taught that unique style and the way they come up with these wierd and wonderful lyrics 😂, I really really need that new album, wonder have they released it yet
ezra has such a nice voice and he always in tune :D
Haha, Rostam looks so delighted that his last name was pronounced correctly.
i love horchata! finally, 2 of my fave things combined: an awesome band and an awesome non-alcoholic drink. let the good times roll!
Omg I seriously listen to this song every single day. It just makes me smile, makes my day 3x's better :)
This song is amazing. Love these guys and Jian.
I just saw the keyboard - they've put black tape over part of the name leaving AHA on the back. Love it.
this band makes me almost greatful to grow up in my generation.
I seriously had to pause it and take the first 10 seconds in. Wow. His voice is perfect, and so is the instrumentation. I've never heard a live version sound so much like the recording.

como la amo!!
CANT WAIT FOR A NEXT ALBUM
this is my favorite song by them
I believe it's a Yamaha VSS30 or something in the VSS range. They used them a few times on the album.
these guys are sick!
Lovely guitar lines on this version, pity the camera never seems to capture the fingerwork.
absolutely amazing
@mswesson has to be a mix of tuning, the tape and tissue on the head and the use of a soft drumstick.
awesome live
best band on the planet
love it!
Awesome song, awesome album. I've a feeling 2010 will be a good one musically.
Igghgugggg
sound the same on recording as they live. so in my books they are the best band EVER.
wish I could have a recording like this for when I sleep. I love the album version but it's too upbeat for sleep.
Vamp Weekend FTW!!
the bass line is pretty wonderful
Oh God love the oooohh part...
@SilentEcho33 I see. Well, that would explain the 80's influence. Would love to see them recreate the "Take On Me" video.

I LOVE IT!!
amazing, i didnt know that an acoustic bass guitar existed!
Yay vampire weekend
does anyone know what kind of yam"aha" synths/keyboards does rostam use on this video?
He uses the Yamaha VSS-30. Yamaha's take on the Casio SK-1.
I LOVE Chris Tomson's face during the intro LOL
Very cool
5:29 - the end Rostam beasts it up like a pro
thanks
Even better than the recording!
i love them haha

V-Neck sweater on the bassist I have it! =]
ezra has nice eyes :P
dude they rock haha
@MeLrOb1994 LOL "When I find a Persian in a good band I'm as happy as a peacock" That's so cute
Holy shit, he took over 2 minutes to introduce the band.
This song makes me want to learn how to play bass
it's time
@AlexandKelsie Haha, that's how I feel about "Cousins".
En diciembre me tomo mi horchata
I wonder why Rostam's keyboard has the "YAM" blacked out... Maybe he just has something against yams.
@tonytiger78 couldnt have put it better myself. respect.
ezra is so beautiful...
@mswesson
tuned the top coat pretty loose, lots of tape, ball of tissue, voila.
they play soo goood with soo few instrumentsss!!!!!
I LOVE THIS BAND SO FUCKIN MUCH!!!!!!
I just got a blue bleedin madras shirt-jacket like Ezra's
OH im so exciteeed!!!

Hey, that's great! Not a fan of the new album, but this is really nice.
@TheGreenteawithmilk I think for the click track
2:10 you're welcome
1:56
You're gonna start out with a song?
DURRRRRRR
Why are they using headphones?
This version is so much lovlier than the album version. I think it's because its a bit more laid back? I can't put my finger on it. D:
2:09 for the actual music
@killluisito Nike's?
@ChicIndie15 So He Has A Baby Face?
6 people are crazy
@silveyta nice eye!
@STOPtheHORROR thats called a good singer :D

@Frogsig :D I've watched live videos. Jealous! I'm gonna see them some day
CU FOR THE WIN

These guys and Muse are about the only two good live bands out there right now.
BestMUSEicEver hey check out lord Huron they are amazing live and they use al types of things to create amazing sounds. A good indie band I feel as equal as vampire weekend live. I started with we went wild by lord Huron. Check them out!
BestMUSEicEver what are you on about? Tame Impala?
lolol when the interviewer pronounced "koenig" wrong
real music starts at 2:09 ...
@andrewbautista23 amen
Also "aha"
@mswesson see the tissues he ducked taped down on the drum? there ya go.
@PeaceSignUp26 i love the song horchata but na would never drink it ahha :)
Ezra slightly reminds me of Anthony from Smosh. I might be the only one on this though...
