- EX7: Digimon Liberators is set to drop in just a few weeks and after reviewing over over EX7, did you know we're also getting a simultaneous release of starters as well?

Tis true. Now the problem is the Pteromon, but again, you can easily rectify it by just going with Terriermon XD
So sad that we missed out on promos in the UK again. There needs to be better availability of promos.
In NA, it seems to be we have enough-ish but there's still a demand that causes them to be stupid high. I feel for the other regions :(
I decided to no-life Zephagamon already and commit to getting a regional top with it, hopefully the banlist helps make it a little easier haha! Either way I'll be coping with my green boy

Nice video, I've had my eye on the line ever since it got announced. It's a really solid deck list and very easy to make without having to go too deep into EX07. I share your pain about the promo pteros especially here in Europe. Hopefully Bandai finds another way to give people a chance at them.
Another viewer here mentioned it's like green Ulforce. Which I could kind of see. Only downside is instead of needing secret rare waifus you need promos.
'Anemoi Embrace' is pronounced as A-NE-MI (like tsunaMI). Anemoi means 'winds' in Greek

I still don't get why people don't mix double typhoon + Lopmon/Terriermon from st to anything green. Ran it on rosemon and it went smooth as butter, probably could help here too...
Tribal. Archetype theme? Admittedly with these kinds of videos, it trying to see what you can do with 2 starters. But because we have the simultaneous release of EX7, it makes it a smidge easier to upgrade the deck.

I do plan on getting this st deck because I do find the cards pretty good and could mold with the ex7 versions well
They'll all be simultaneously released! So it'll be good to pick it all up in one go - starter decks, side set, and the trainings will even come with the starters!
I actually did some testing of Eaglemon in a Fortitude deck; and you know what... it's not bad. Fortitude needs a bit more support; but it's actually not a bad card.
But the upgrades for the deck are obvious; throw out the not Petromon stuff; stick in the EX07 stuff. It's not like Arisa who's builds have a million choices. Arisa's upgrade choices are a lot more varied due to so many yellow puppets.
Agreed. I don't think it's a bad card, I think it's missing enough pieces to give it a home. Though again, I'll make the argument that green always feels like the guinea pig color before the ability is sent off elsewhere. A lot of older green effects are just.. nonexistent or not as prevalent anymore.

@@DIGI-PANDA Fortitude does seem to get drip-fed stuff; like with Dinomon coming.
But Eaglemon is actually pretty good disruption, and works quite well with peirceing and battle-security trashing effects I found. And as an Avian and a Fortitude card; there's quite a few ways to search it [EX04 Hawkmon for example]

I feel like digi burst was a bit too pricey as far as keywords go and as a result it became obsolete
Digisorption was also cool but it felt like it was restricted mainly to plant species

I personally would also run 1-2 MegaGargomon ACE to counter Hybrid decks as it locks down their tamers so they can't digivolve them.

I like the deck, in regards to upgrades though, I'll probably replace the promo Pteromon with the Muchomon as a lot of your later effects want you to suspend your own digimon making this card a good target alongside giving your digimon a boost

@@DIGI-PANDA Tested the deck out at a locals the other day and got second place! I'd actually recommend keeping Muchomon in the deck as its boost effect has actually helped me a lot especially against decks with digimon with high DP either with or without annoying effects that could cost you the game such as DeathXmon. For the promo Pteromon, while helpful due to its effect, its not very good if you go against digimon that aren't effect by your digimon effects. As an alternative to the Galemon promo, I'd recommend 4 of the starter deck and the EX7 Galemon along with two copies of Kokotorimon as while it's a blocker, it has the inheritable of piercing allowing double threat in terms of attacks while dealing damage.
What if doesn't have Imperialdramon ? Maybe a Megagargomon Ace ?
You could run either too as options! I think they're valid.

Thank you! I appreciate the msg drop on pronunciations. I usually go with pronunciations based on what I heard in the English Dub.. but seeing as there is no English Dub for Liberators... it's more of a wild guess.
Pteromon Promo could be replaced by Kiwimon, since it has the 3K DP and the same On Play albeit it's not a LIBERATOR card.
There are a lot of options. I like keeping it just Pteromon though ha ha.

I think i have been thinking about my level 4s the most in these deck i was gonna go with
4 EX7 gale
3 Starter deck gale
2 Gale promos
And 2 togemon but i think im gonna just not run toge and split Gale 3 and 3 with the promo and rhe starter deck one
I can see the advantage of the security Galemon. Togemon does give value, but the lack of searches for it feels awkward at times.

That is one of the major downsides of Digimon as a card game. The need for specific promos that have little access make it difficult to justify the deck.
Technically starters decks came out before ex7 so it would have been the first appearance in the tcg
I debated on that XD but since we're getting the English release treatment.. it is what it is.

You could. In this situation you'd have better consistency but with Terriermon you have potential to play a tamer for free. It's a player preference here.
The deck looks fun, but I absolutely will not be buying the promos, I'll make do with other picks.
Also hyped for the trainings, havent picked those up yet either.
They are much cheaper now thankfully! The promos.. not so much. I'm hoping the delivery system makes it so that promos are only ever like $5-10 tops. $30-40 makes my skin crawl.

You can run it in this deck. Overall, my aim for this was to go semi budget (excluding the promos) and get newer players into the game if Liberator has been of interest to them.
Do you need it? Not necessarily. I think it'd be decent in future Liberator decks. Cost wise I don't anticipate it being too expensive either.
Muchomon Will he be the main character or just an extra?
Pteromon is the main while muchomon is an extra. From what I understand Muchomon is a standard digimon obtainable by normal Means while Pteromon is a unique digimon that wandered into the game just like shoemon and ghostmon

I covered this one a long time ago. Blisters? Not really. It's wildly inefficient. Packs without the blister wrapping? Yes.

my advice.
cut 1 rookie, play only 1 promo peitra, and 2 terrier, you run more tamers.
place 2 promo shoto, and either starter shoto or mimi, for 7 tamers.
promo shoto is better than starter shoto, sucks i know. deck is not as cheap as you might think at first.
and starter deck 17 gummy is probolbly a beter choice, as your egg.
That's true. The terriermon is very viable in this deck as you run so many tamers. Mimi can definitely help promote extra bodies. Curious why promo Shoto is better than starter? The starter variant seems to be the talk of the town with it's ability to gift blocker generically.
I could also agree with Gummymon taking the egg slot for drawing more cards.

on play, free rookie.
digivolve terrier on egg, play shoto promo, on play, play pietramon, on play effect to search, pass the first turn with tamer, promotion in waiting, and a digimon on field.
ready for double stack building, or for tamer play.
one of the openings you could have turn 1.
and evey time you digivolve the first time, free memorie.
starter deck shoto should still require a attack target, and vortex normaly takes care of that.
if you play the deck correvly, your opponent normaly doesn't have more than 1 stack to attack.
making 1, more than inof.
either 1 starter deck shoto.
or 1 mimi bt1 for the memorie setting.
and i beleave mimi has more value in the deck than starter deck shoto.
i would also cut the ex7 galemon to 1, and play 4 starterdeck galemon.
most would play megagargomon ace.
though i find rust tyrannomon ace a little better as a save me ace.
leave the rest for what it is.
i think you'll find more succes this way.

Like the word Zephyr ...
Seem to be is the problem.
The problem I ran into is that because there's no anime or reference point for me to use as the pronunciation of the name, some creators were emphasizing fa and gah into more of an expletive and the "ah".
Hence why ultimately for my pronunciation I ultimately went with Zephyr-gah-mon instead.
Scalpers making this deck so expensive with promp prices
It's unfortunate. I think Cendrillmon players have it worse because Shoeshoemon didn't get a reprint like Galemon.
