All the drivers put on a show in the final, this is what we expected to see from the drivers that made it to the final race. HUGE congratulations go to Marco Polo as he takes the top spot in the tournament. Once again (......and I'm going to continue to say this because it's a FACT) HUGE shout out to Gravity Throttle Racing for putting out a great product, there's no other racing channel that can compare to what you have going on!!!!!!!!!

What a final!! Big props to GTR, your content is miles ahead of any other racing channel, and I think that's especially because of the track design! Many iconic sections, room for cars to fully showcase their characteristics and so much action every single race! I really hope other channels will follow the path you guys are carving.
The only thing I would change is to award the extra points for mode "skilled" exploits, like best overtakings and drifts, instead of for happening to pass over the train.
Can't wait for next season!!
Way closer than I thought it would be, especially before halftime. I was sure Johnny Smack had the fastest truck but fastest doesn't automatically mean bestest on a track like this.
No surprise that Marco…POLO! took the crown. He pretty much dominated the whole tournament.
Another great job by GTR! This and the Marbula 1 series by Jelle's Marble Runs (the 4th of which just ended yesterday with my O'Rangers finishing 3rd in the team standings) are my favorite racing channels on TH-cam.

I knew Marco Polo would pull it out. Great season. Ever since I found your channel, I've been trying to find another track similar to yours. I've found that no one has a track better than yours. I'm planning on doing my own track, and I hope I can do as well as you did.
I say, Go For It! If you go to my TH-cam channel Playlist, you should see a series of build videos from last summer. I think it says Season 3 build. That should give you plenty of insight.
I love the Chevy and GMC but I had a feeling Marco Polo would win. Although that Ford was fast! 🎊
Yep, that 1935 Ford was blazing fast! I think with a little suspension added it would have had the consistency to win.

every one of those trucks had a chance at the win, very evenly matched.... aside from a couple kerflonkles (100% made up word as I typed 😁) that is.
kerflonkles - Aaron says he's gonna use that word next week.
Just for clarification, I'm asking if the next race with the top two finishers from each Are You _Trucking_ tournament is exhibition only?

Good close-fought final to finish a great tournament! Marco Polo was both stable and fast, making a deserving champion. As an aside, this track is actually watchable at full speed, while other tracks are just a blur.
Hi Richard. Thanks for commenting. FYI, my races are actually shown at 50% real speed. 3D does the same. Some channels show it faster. When I first started my channel, a few commented that it looked too slow. My first track did not have as steep of grades as this one. Does this clarify somethings, or did I misunderstand?
@@gravitythrottleracing Ah, that's interesting - I assumed you slowed the video down less than 3D and the other channels.
@richardmorgan9273 Now, one cool thing I managed to do with help from 2 friends is make my timer run at double speed. When you see a 26-second run, it actually took 13 seconds real time.
Best race so far. Hope zoomnami tune up next time.

Very cool. When your showing the scores at the end be better if you could grab and drop to the top animated such that the new top score goes to the top and lower ranks fall to the bottom in an animated way...would be cool to see that. Also I found it too hard to monitor who is who so better to call out each car via a unique color to make it obvious like black momba, orange juice, red wrecker etc etc..

1st race would have been closer if joker lane was at least 2 vehicles wide.
Funny thing, it used to narrow before the sharp right. It was revised before Season 4 to narrow after. Looks like it needs to continue to the runway.

In future seasons, can you put the drivers’ names when you show the points and standings? It’s hard to keep their names straight and it would be a nice reminder.

Right, but then you’ve sprayed something onto it to make it look like real dirt. Is it airbrushed, or is that some kind of fancy plastic paint offered by duplicolor or something?
@@FORMULA_Diecast Yes, I sprayed it with tan enamel paint, then brushed acrylic paint colors to give it a redish "stirred up dirt" look, then I sprayed a matte clear coat on top to recover the slick finish. It recovers about 90% of the slickness, if that makes sense.

Looks like I need to order some 1/64 scale people. Any suggestions? Amazon shows 1/100 scale people. I need 1/64 scale people as this Half Time show is making me laugh already and I have "Clean" ideas. I only need like 4 little people. Thanks all. A good drift is sort of subjective and adds arbitrary points. Why not add a point if a car flips or deduct if it crosses the finish in reverse?
I agree. The best performing drift is subjective. That's why we have multiple judges... up to 5 sometimes.
try to put weight ~66%-front and ~34%-rear
Any weight distribution further forward than about 55%/45% front-to-rear results in too much under drifting on the pad.
