🦃 Turkey dressing-
Bake turkey, shred
Add 2 tbs vegetable oil
2-3 medium chopped onions diced
3-4 stalks celery chopped
1 1/2 tsp dried sage
1 tsp poultry seasoning
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup milk
3 eggs lightly beaten
2 - 2 1/2 cups chicken broth or stock
2 tbsp butter
Mix all ingredients with shredded turkey and crumbled cornbread
Preheat 400F 25-35 minutes
🦃 Sweet potato souffle-
4 sweet pototoes peeled and chopped
Boil 30 minutes, drian
Add 1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup whole milk
4 tbs butter
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
mix
🦃 Topping for souffle-
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Dash salt
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
4 tbs soft/melted butter
Mix. add on top
Bake 350F 50 minutes
🦃 Green bean casserole-
3 cans french style green beans
10oz. can cream of mushroom soup condensed
3/4 cup milk
pepper to taste
1 1/3 cup crispy fried onions divided
Mix all, Bake 350F 30 minutes, stir
Top with remaining crispy onions, bake 5 more minutes
🦃 Ham base-
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup pineapple juice
2 tbs dijon mustard
pinch ground cloves
whisk together and pour over ham 30 minutes before its done, broil for a few minutes at end.

You’re right about not a good idea storing potatoes and onions in plastic bags. Paper bags or little open cardboard boxes will help them stay fresher longer. Love the Thanksgiving vibes. I think that’s my favorite holiday! 🦃🦃🦃

My favorite things to make at Thanksgiving is my mom dressing n pumpkin pie make it different than anyone cause she changed it up

If you get bagged onions keep out what you are going to use and I always cut and freeze the rest its easy and it doesn't hurt the onions they still taste fresh

Such a cozy video! We’re going to my dad’s for thanksgiving. He lives about 2 hours away so we’ll be there for a couple of days. My step mom cooks but I’ll be bringing some homemade desserts.

Yes a lot of times I'll listen to music or watch a a video. Christmas music mid November through December. 🎅
Love all the Thanksgiving food! We always have it at my house. My 3 grown sons and their families usually come. I used to make everything but as I’ve gotten a bit older I asked for some help, so they all bring something now. Offer to bring something everyone!! My favorite dish is the stuffing. Mine is 1/2 cornbread and 1/2 bread and I stuff the turkey the old school way and then have an extra dish of stuffing on the side…..delish!!! ☀️🦃☀️🦃
Yes having help is a must! It's a lot on one person to make all that food alone for sure.

We celebrated Thanksgiving last weekend because most of my grown kids can not make it for Thanksgiving day due to job or their in laws. We had green casserole, sweet potato soufflé, cornbread dressing, broccoli casserole, turkey, cherry coke salad, rolls, pumpkin pie, pumpkin cake, & cheesecake. I made everything except pumpkin pies. I asked 1 of my son’s girlfriend to buy 2 Costco pumpkin pies since Costco is near her work(the closest Costco is 2 hours away from me).
Ooo! Broccoli casserole sounds delicious!

It's been a lucky week with all of these videos you've been uploading! I "practice" my Thanksgiving recipes on my family throughout November also. I did sweet potato casserole a couple of nights ago. I don't like sweet potatoes but was given some so I tweaked a recipe according to my tastes and it turned out amazing! Even my picky 7 year old who hates veggies and potatoes loved it.
You are such an inspiration and a great wife and mom and woman of God. I needed this motivation today to take down my Halloween decor as well.
I don’t host our family Thanksgiving because my house isn't big enough, but I do most of the cooking. I do the ham, mac and cheese, pink jello salad, sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes, and a couple of pies. I am also doing the dressing this year because my FIL will be in rehab recovering from surgery and he usually makes it. ❤
When we stopped doing Thanksgiving with family and started doing it, just our family Thanksgiving got a lot more injoyable. Our extended family use to do pie night, we're everyone brought a pie to share and we all hung out, ate pie and played games. So much more fun

Yummy! 😋 I host Thanksgiving at my house the Sunday before. Then on Thanksgiving everyone does their own thing. I make a Thanksgiving for just me & my husband. If I go anywhere I bring the deviled eggs, cranberry sauce, rolls, & mac & cheese.

I love that you have a little Thanksgiving dinner with just your family first; that’s so cute. My kids don’t like any of the sides, they basically just eat rolls 😂. My favorite is my mama’s stuffing. We always go to my mom’s house & my sister cooks pretty much everything by choice. She lets me set the table, and that’s about it. 🥴 I also love her green beans. I only like turkey the day of, but I can’t eat it reheated-it tastes funky. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. I love football, family, and FOOD. 😍

Hey Marie, been loving your videos! Especially the Christmas hauls, I went to Hobby Lobby and got a lot of new decor my self. My tree theme this year is going to be red black checkered burlap. The items I got are really cute!!!
You may already be aware of this tip for cleaning your oven racks but just in case …spray your oven racks with oven cleaner and place them in a plastic trash bag and set them outside in the sun or just let them set in the bathtub for awhile. It will clean most or all of the grease depending on how dirty they are. I use a Brillo pad to scrub them off and then rinse. Great video and motivation for getting ready for Thanksgiving !

We usually host our adult children and spouses and grandchildren 😊Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday 🤩We have a new son in law who cooks 👍So he makes a great sweet potato casserole that he Will bring. I usually do a turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, rolls, canned cranberry stuff and stovetop stuffing. My mom used to make homemade stuffing but these people like stovetop better🙄I would love to make my own stuffing but we have a family member who hates butter, so that limits a lot of what I used to make. Anyways you have a great Thanksgiving Marie❤️

Thank you so much!! Yes it was rough seeing my kids get sicker and sicker every day from it. I'm so happy to be out of there. No consequences for the landlords. The health department wouldn't do anything about it unless I paid them. 😔
