Mongolia scenery is majestic. How is the serenity? Some great footage. Hoping one day I can get over there. Well done to all the crew.
Managed to fit all the gear in the vehicles, dumped the trailer, had a great time anyway. There's a lesson in here.
Mad respect to Justin and team for showing your equipment warts and all. This is the meaning of product testing under arduous conditions! No one gets out without problems to solve. Real life when overlanding.

Really nice camera work from 22 minutes... that expanse of land is impressive; all the rigs (and the Polaris) look minuscule in comparison. Looking forward to setting up the X2 and getting rugged with that DMAX in a camping spot like that.

We had the same issue with our trailer (not a patriot) back in 2002 in the NT lucky enough the ranger was a up bloke and helped us out. Keep up the awesome adventures Justin and crew

Wow this set of videos from Mongolia have been awesome . Over landing at its best even with the break down on the x1. Rigs break when you over land in the real ruff out doors . It took over 3 seasons of patriot games to finally bust the trailer through intense environments ( most ppl wouldn’t go through) ... wow impressive. Now that’s australien made. Great quality.

Patriot Games, i wonder if you can help me out. God blessed me with a 1987 Subaru Leone 1.6l station wagon 5yrs ago. You people go to extreme places for advanture, me i go to extreme places to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love the car so much but one thing problem, spare parts. I see how you are connected to dealers all over Australia and I thought you can help me get spares especially:
1) CV joint
2) Rotors[front and hind]
3) Suspension
These are things you can't find brand new here in Kenya. Can you help me out?

That x1 scrapping made my soul cry 😭. Had something similar happened on me quad! Ended up strapping a log to the axle on one side to inch back to the shed.

Hi Justin and friends, epic video, nice place over there and No fighting for camp locations!!! Haha... the only downside I guess is “byow”. Bring your own wood ! No chop chop quick a fallen try to get fire wood. And a bag of dried cow dunk is not really the go for Ozzie mates. Waiting for lifted travel ban and my ticket to UB is booked. Cheers mates

It would have been cool to have brought a little boat and maybe a couple of quads to go with the Polaris. I think you had the man power to have had more vehicles the only problem is getting them to Mongolia. Don't feel to bad about the trailer it was built great anything else and that would have been way worse.

you guys think you had it tough, have you watched the grand tour episode where they had to travel across Mongolia on a 4wd they had to build in the middle of no were with very limited supplies. That's struggle.

Maybe not a bad idea to put permanent skid plates on the bottom of the suspension arms. It will also assist during rocky terrain crossings.

question - forgive my ignorance but why not fasten a wooden or plastic sled to (under) the wheel assembly to distribute the load and reduce the gouging of dirt and rocks Justin?
We didn’t have anything suitable and it wasn’t going to go any more damage so we just dragged it

It reminds me of an Australian documentary called Motorkite Dreaming. They had a broken axel and pinched a road sign to make a 'skid'... sparks flying on the tarmac (but it saved them). Guys, no worries, there are dozen of tracks all over the places. When you have never been Mongolia especially south Gobi you don’t know. Should see the coal mining sides. 1 Million Tracks run to the Chinese border. Every day thousand of road trains with coal run to China.
By the looks of it, this failure looks like a lack of maintenance or the sheer number of miles on the unit. Not the quality of the product
