I have this thing and threw on a babyliss taper blade which is the best taper blade in my opinion. It absolutely scoops hair, and man its taking the place of my babyliss profx . I love how slim it is, its almost the size of a trimmer but with clippper power. The weight is so balanced. I like it so much I ordered the kemei version which is more of an all metal build. I should be recieving it day from temu.
@@DoritosResidue this clipper is def one that impressed me, VGR has a Clipper similar to the Instinct that I’m going to review soon . That one is chefs kiss
@JuanFranciscoTimeless oh yes that one with the vector motor right? I just got the kemei version 2373. I haven't used it yet . It's actually surprisingly smaller than this vgr in this video. But man the torque in these vector motors have to be the strongest motors I came across. Meaning if you try to stop it with two fingers you really feel the power. I have been going crazy with these chinese clippers this past month because of the great build for the Value you get. These are better than any wahls out there . I haven't bought Chinese clippers since covid and man have they just improved so much , even surpassed American brands.
@@DoritosResidue yup, they are definitely pushing some amazing products out this way. Even the guys at the shop are starting to realize this. This is something the Barber community needed is variety.
@@rcck72 the out of the box blade gave a really soft haircut, then switched it to JRL onyx blade and it cuts, more precise and details extremely good, but right now I’m rocking a wahl std blade only because I think wahl has the best blade in the game
@@ChubyWater lol sorry I wish I would have clarified that in video. I do believe a lot of the blades in the market right now will fit this clipper. Except for the andis and oster blades
@@JuanFranciscoTimeless Just wondering how was your zero gapping process. I got a jrl taper blade but man I still cant get it exact zero flush because it rattles the guards
@@ChubyWater so when the guard rattles it can be 3 thing 1: the still blade in not centered and the cutting blade is going to far left or to far right causing the guard rattle. 2nd: one of the corners is to high witch can cause the rattle 3rd: if you are using the wahl premium guards as swaying as those are, the tension hook loosens up overtime. But you can bend it back a little bit and see if that works.
The appearance is like a JRL but the motor is bananas, i put my SC rebel away, SC instinct away, magic clip away, the VGR surprised me. If you want a budget friendly JRL motor wise, look into the madeshow kulilang R77F, they're smooth similar to the tpob play also.
I’ve had this for a while. The clippers are very good, the trimmers are alright it’s good enough to get the job done.
I recommend you get a better blade for trimmer it will hit hard trust
@@Trisha858 I should

What u mean when u said the boade is overwhelming for the machine ? 🤔
Great set love them put the babyliss blade on both

Does the lever open longer like the jrl
Or is it normal like the babyliss
@@heloooo83 so I would say it’s def like the JRL 5 lever position especially when you have the JRL onyx blade on it
How do you make the clipper lever free hand?
I’m not sure, your not a fan of the clicks ?
Great video you’re inspiring me to start making my own maybe soon🙏🏽📈
@@heloooo83 I would highly encourage you, it’s awesome in my opinion. Helping people is definitely my goal with this channel

Is it heavy??
They have some weight to it, but not heavy at all. Feels very sturdy
Which is heavier, Wahl Senior?
330 grams for the clippers
200 grams the trimmer

Did they just slap a different color and logo on the jrl lmao

Mine came with 4 click lever what may be the reason ??
Is it fake or some shit?
Sorry for the confusion, so yours should have 5 lever positions meaning
1: Closed
2:1/4 open
3:2/4 open
4:3/3 open
5: fully open
I hope this helps.
how to 0 gap the trimmer?
Mine came zero gapped out of the box , so I never got to actually do this my self. Sorry 😔
