Larry is the Senior Vice President of Government and Public Affairs, Assistant Secretary, and General Counsel to the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF).
The NSSF is the trade association for the firearms, ammunition, shooting, and hunting industry. As the SVP of government and public affairs, Larry is the industry’s chief lobbyist and media spokesperson. He also handles legal matters, ranging from corporate governance to drafting legislation.

Also, for the record, there are a large number of Canadians that wish, every day, that we had the protection of the Second Amerndment. There is a large gun owning, sport shooting and hunting community here and we are NOT represented by our government, or many of our fellow citizens. If I had a flag emoji, it would be upside down.
I've only recently discovered your podcast. And have just started reading the terminal list. Having grown up reading Tom Clancy and Clive Cussler, I am really enjoying your book. I have some reading to do to get through all 6 of your books.
Love SHOT. One thing though, while everyone is super friendly, I find that SHOT show is one of the only places I found where you can be with 50K people and still feel like your all alone. Sometimes thats good and sometimes that boring.
In California, where I live the State regulates the gun shops to the point that the family/ non corporate owned gun businesses can barely afford to stay in business. More and more just close their doors. The last gun shop in my city will close next month due to draconian State regulations. When all the family type stores are gone the State will go after the corporate stores next.

Ethan's Bill and Assault Rifle Ban were on the Senate floor today but the Bills failed mainly due to the senator from WY pointing out how unconstitutional it was. I'm no expert however this is good news for 2a
